Help me with a DIY COB for 3x3x6 flowering tent

Hi everybody,

I am itching to build a COB set up for my 3x3x6 flowering tent. I currently flower 1 plant at a time in a 5 gallon DWC setup, yet i plan to stagger 2 plants in there 6-8 weeks apart

I found this build on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/microgrowery/comments/51umvr/i_made_a_quality_cob_build_list_for_a_3x3_tent/, for around $400

I am having a heck of a time getting the heatsinks as NGL and cobkits do not have 140mm

Can I do better than this?

I've heard of these, I don't think they are for me. I am wanting 50w per sf of COBs

I was looking at his 1818 engines @ $65 each, kind of breaking my $500 budget, also the 12v ps for fans only run 4 fans while i would have 6

With a quality LED light 50 watts sq/ft is overkill. I use just under 30 for scrogs in a 3x3 and think over 40 is wasteful and has diminishing returns.

Perhaps, this comes in at 44w per sf. I can dim it, if its too much, right?
