What's with the necro thread action?
Recently read that Kenyan proverb and I wanted to share. So I typed "inspirational quotes" into the search bar, which lead to this thread.
Then someone said something about hamburgers and I fell off my kitchen stool laughing.
Sidebar- is this not what's done here? Bad form to revisit old threads? I thought it was polite to look to the past rather than barrel on into the future like I'm the most special snowflake with the most original thread ideas. I'm mailable though, if it's not cool for the masses I won't do it again.

I am curious because we have a phenomenon in T&T of young, low-post accounts reviving very old threads. I've never understood it, so I asked.

Generally in T&T, reviving old threads isn't done much. If you start a new thread on the topic, I doubt anyone will complain. But there I go speaking for others.

I'm a low post account? From the time I've been here I think I'm doing quite well. Usually it takes me months to start conversing with the regulars. But noted, in the chatty section just start new threads. I'm sure it's different when asking about lights to buy or nutrients; then better to search bar.

Yup, only two figures. Don't feel bad though; I once had under 10 posts. I survived and went on to become one of the cool kids with baseball bats. :joint::bigjoint:
So your future here is big, kid ... so long as you don't go mainy on us. Then it's immune response time on Rollitup.

Not quite sure what that means but I'll try to be respectful. I science camped out a bit and calculated that you have an average post count of 20.94 posts per day over a period of 1,945 days. I myself have a daily post count of 9.67 posts over the last 9 days, which means I do in fact have a low post count. And If thinking math's cool is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Resurrecting old threads is generally accepted when new and pertinent content is added.

Resurrecting old threads to say simply "me too" is just annoying and may attract
unintended curiosity and/or ridicule.

You posted new and like content. Its all good.

My all time favourite quote from is from fiction , not sure why maybe its just because it sounds so cool the way Jules says it :
Jules Winnfield: The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee.
Wouldn't ya just love to say that to someone that's done you wrong in some way .

A favorite scene of many Pulp Fiction fans.

The greatest quote ever made I found when I was very young. I never had a real family and grew up pretty much on my own from the time I was 14. It pretty much sums up my life from that point to this, and continues to have very deep meaning for me after it all: a shitty childhood, a difficult young adulthood, battling cancer, all 49 years of it.
