First grow few problems

Hello everyone i am in dire situation. this is my first grow and i think i bite off more than i could chew. i got this 2x2x2m grow tent and planning to scrog 24 plants in there. my problem is which reflectors shoud i get. i have 4 x 400 watt mhs at the moment and planning to get 4 x 600 watt hps bulbs. my question is that, 4 x 6'' cool tubes with little wings attached to it can do the trick ? air cooled sealed reflectors are so expensive in my country that i cant afford. sorry about my bad english

so u are a 6.4 x6.4 for a total footprint of 40.6 sqft

400w great in 2x2 good in 3x3
600w great in a 3x3 good in a 4x4
1000w great in a 4x4 good in a 5x5

your area ......2 600w on 2 light rails
the light should be about 2.5 feet (0.762 m) from the wall.......each light..... light mover will move the light up and down on a track so u get the edges evenly u do it so the system has one light at the far end as the other light as other end then it should be balanced when it moved the reflective off the tent walls will do the rest

that is simple

unless u want to pull uneeded watts and amps to your area

2 600w ......that can look like 2 computers in the house running

but 4 600w that is 2400w a hour
the sheer heat that makes the power for u to controll plus light the bulbs up

and u can build your own light mover using the track they use to make drawls slide in and out ......1 motor 4 peices of rope/wire
to me that is simple as your area is now well light and u really do not need to do anything untill bulb change time

i am telling u now if u put 4 600w in that area u are looking at a 2 ton AC unit to keep your area in the golden zone ........even with cool tubes and the tubes are running 15secs cycles (every 15 secs all the air in the tent is cycled out )

the power bill in your area will be 2 to 3 times what other ppl are pulling .......and odds are u did not think about IR blocker (to blobk the flair cameras the cops use to find hot spots in your house to allow them warrents to enter )

abnormal power drawl and hot spots in a flair camera will get a judge to sign a warrent allowing the cops in to peak ( the T word has fucked us all up on that one ....massive power use and hot spots in the house can mean lab)

I'm running a 1800w op ( without over driving the bulbs, could be over 2000w) in a space way bigger than a tent , and I ll tell u, I got a "oven full of weed", to bring and keep the temps around 75/80 I had to put on a 14k btu ac unit, plus a farmer in line fan pulling fresh cold air from out side, these bulbs r no joke when come about temps. If you have healthy plants, I believe that 2sq feet per plant won't be enough space. Start your plans according to ur space availability, u don't need a oven. Worse case scenario u won't harvest a joint if every thing goes south due temps and others main points.

Frajola thank you for your explanatory answer. change in plans. actually i got 2 fans, 1250 cfm max fan pro and 450 cfm standart 6'' fan. right now 4x400 watts are lit in worst and hottest reflectors you could ever think of. 1250cfm fan (working on half power 700cfm) pumping hot air to outside and my 2 passive 6'' intakes taking air in through short ducting. because of that i can never darken my room ( outside is cold ) 24/0 lights on. temp inside is between 21-26c. i dont insist on growing lots of plants enough is enough but i want to use the full advangtages of 2x2m tent

Getting ur feet on land , welcome back again, lol. 24/0, I never tried, and heard that even plants needs to sleep check upon Circadian Cycle. I do 18/6, no variations whatsoever, never. Light stress = beans. I use bare bulbs by the way, hanging vertically.

i tried 24/0 before and trust me plants love it but i am gonna stick with this till my cooltubes arrives. then planning to change 18/6.

You really need to start off with something much more simple and manageable. Even if it was possible to grow in that small space with 2 x 400w, you would have to have a lot of experience and stay on top of it throughout the day as temps fluctuate.

SCROG is an advanced growing method. I wouldn't recommend this as a first grow. Start simple and work up from there. Get a couple grows under your belt with just a few plants, learn how to top using the FIM method and practice LST. If you don't know what FIM and LST are, then you're probably not ready for growing a SCROG.

Without experience, you'd probably get more out of a few healthy plants grown right than a struggling SCROG.

Thank you for your precious advice JSB99 i really understand your worries but im searching, reading, actually live with this grow thingy at least for 2 years now this will be my greatest experience, because i am trying to get the perfect temps for 3 months now with different fans and lights and finally cooltubes. climate is perfect now in there even when lights off i will be patient and try to learn everything i can do with this setup. there are some changes in setup. now i have 4x400 watt mhs and 4x600 dual spectrums with 4 winged cooltubes. actually i really understand your worries but im searching, reading, actually live with this grow thingy at least for 2 years now i already topped my ladies like 4 way lst, the only problem im facing now is the technique to grow. should i have to do scrog or just leave maybe 18 of the 25 in there and wait for the best. my only goal is to achieve 0.5gr/watt. that weed is going to be enough for me and my friends.

Even if you have a challenge on your hands, you're going to have fun. You're going to learn from your mistakes, but a lot of the time it's small victories with every one you conquer. I did the same and I doubt there are many who followed all the advice they were given in the beginning
