Its a great light, don't listen to this guy. It will be perfect for your tent, I would go with less plants though. If it ain't a COB! it's just blah, blah, blah! Not so good in bloom......I know, folks love'em.....not me!
RIGHT,,,,,you do that! Its a great light, don't listen to this guy. It will be perfect for your tent, I would go with less plants though.
The OP is willing to change his mind and you tell him to ignore good advice? I was given a mars hydro 600w and it worked fine. The plants still came out nice, but the light spread and penetration wasn't very good at all. Cob's are better hands down, but the Mar's can be cheaper on price and convenient, since they're pre-built. Dr. Who is probably one of the most respected growers on here, watch out who you are calling guy and telling to ignore advice from. Its a great light, don't listen to this guy. Of course they don't measure up but you're saying they're are no good which isn't true. Ive had excellent results in the past with a regular old 300w mhydro light from veg to bloom 4 plants. And there's absolutely no need to go big or go home. What the hell are you saying? Some people are on a budget or just grow for hobby. Maybe those COBs are why you can't get your fem seeds to be female jk But why say Mars hydro is no good..Just not true.RIGHT,,,,,you do that!
Do it right to start or be condemned to keep wanting better equipment! Spend once and keep your wallet happy and your plants delivering peak quality......
LED for that tent? BUILD some COB's and see what a real lighting package can do! Bottom line would be a 600 HID package! Best would be a 600w COB LED kit!
"Blurple" led's - Don't measure up in bloom!

Advice? Where? He just stated he didn't like the light, didn't even state if it would be good for his tent or not. If it ain't cob? I mean come on...You have the nerve to threaten me then throw a peace sign guy. So im guessing you got a full COB setup too?If it ain't a COB! it's just blah, blah, blah! I started with them 5 years ago. I replaced several diodes about every cycle. Maybe they have gotten better. Here is a pic. Notice the poor heat transfer. Sad.View attachment 3854021
