Purple leaves, slow growth

FWIW a gallon of water is 8.35 pounds, not 10 pounds. If you are going to toss numbers around make sure they are somewhat accurate.

Thanks for the advice guys. The bad news is that my formerly purplish leaf if now completely brown and curled upward. The good news is, it's limited to that one leaf. The other big leaf still looks purple, but not any more purple than it did before. My other two plants look the same since I transplanted them.

Yah the purple on those leafs won't go away they'll just die. The good news is you should see them take off by the end od the weekend. Spraying the roots you may have a little shock but don't worry I bet you'll be happier in the next day or two.

You're right! My plants are doing really well now! Even the one with the dead leaf seems to be growing new leaves now (although not as fast as the other two). Thanks again for all the help, everyone. I think they've grown more in the last few days than the first three weeks combined!

I think the confusion here is that a Imperial Gallon and a US gallon are different.

Good figured that was the issue. Just watch them you shouldn't have to worry with feeding them for a few weeks. Glad things are turning around for you.
