Anyone Who Has Grown Reserva Privada OG 18 Please Look

I was wanting to know some things about reserva privada's OG 18.

I have a single seed of it and I plan on that being my next grow.

How is she overall?

How does she handle nutrients?? light?? heavy???

take well to topping/lollipopping???


Any help or knowledge about this strain would be great, I'd love to hear from some people who have grown this out and lemme know what its like.

I plan on growing OG 18 in either 3 or 5 gallons of ocean forest soil along with grow big,big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching.

One of a few strains I really wish I kept around, top 5 smoke all time that I've ever smoked or grown.

Yield was pretty impressive for a kush strain (10 zips) outdoors in Chicago, loved to be topped.

I don't remember if she was a heavy feeder or not, she was ridiculously easy to grow and finished up second week of October.

I agree with Corso312 above.

OG# 18 is an exceptional strain.
I grew it indoors only under 600 and 1000W HIDs.
I found it easy to grow and a moderate feeder. She does like to stretch a bit, and I topped (or tied down) my girls.
I grew it back in 2012 and'13. I hope the seeds available now are of the same quality!

beware though, current seed production runs on the last couple years are a fail, plain boring og, I've purchased 40 beans #18 in the last 2 years, grew them all, what a waste of cash. reserva better get their shit str8 or they'll lose me for good
but the packs before that were pure fire.

leave it alone, dont train, she loves organic feed most. let her flower until you see some amber trichs appearing.
about 65-70 days in a proper room.

luckily I can easily find the same experience in Chem 91 X Skunk from Cali Connection, my new fav

I've heard that from several people now, that the OG 18 I grew 6-7 years ago is not the same they are selling now..that's why I've never tried to order again..the OG 18 I grew in 09' or 08' was a freebie from attitude on an order I made..it just happened to be the best strain I received.

If I were you and looking for that OG~ Chem flavor and killer product..I'd spend the 200$ and get an OG from Topdawg and I'm confident you will be very pleased.

I'd go with the D O.G. or the Three OG's #1.

Like Dr Grinspoon gives us the wickedest trippy effects...but the flowering time is way too long, the yield is piss poor too, so she wont make the cut here(dangit) I've recently sampled Scotts OG, Queen of hearts and think these two may in the running with my prized chems.


I know the seed production quality counts on, among others factors, the quality of the environment. I believe their environment has changed, maybe even the production location. they lose big time, and they know it now btw. I hear promises, we'll see.

If a company comes out with some amazing genetic they need to stabilize the shit out of it to make sure every single seed turns out to be pure fire.

I'll grow it out and if its not fantastic it'll be ok. I let me buddy make shatter out of it.


I also have some diesel autos from speed seeds , purple cheese from Auto seeds and honey haze from simply female seeds....

in the mail I have something from barneys I was wanting to try and that is ayahuasca purple

I'm still looking for a strain i had a few years ago. It was called juicy fruit... and no not these impostors you see around like fruity chronic juice etc.

that juicy fruit I had was by far the best smelling and tasting weed I've ever had.. It wasn't even super potent but I still have not tasted anything that good. It smelled and tasted exactly like juicy fruit gum x 100 (even on the 5th or 6th hit) ... I do anything for a cut of that stuff.

I can't wait till my order comes in so i can try out barney farms new offering that ayahusca purple its (red river delta X master kush) supposed to be 100% indica and purple/red nugs and be great.


I was really impressed with auto seeds , the company Auto seeds. I just grew out their trans siberian autoflower and got 88.3 grams dry in 5 gallons of soil grown under a 93 actual watt ufo led. I have a 3 pack of their purple cheese (blue cheese x purple #1).

Auto seeds is a company I love . They have the best autoflower genetics IMO and the auto #1 they came up with and use to make all their autos is damn decent strain by itself.

Took me 8 months to grow her though...

Grew one og18 freebie maybe four years back.. Absolute fire, very og, very hard pointy sticky buds... But it yielded a fucking half o lol and next to plants giving me 3 and four ounces. I didn't choose the right methods for it I'm sure someone can squeeze out more but i expect more than that for sure.. Definitely fire though

I used to do amazing things in the shittiest grow closet ever.. no air intakes/outakes only and osciallating fan inside the closet and a 93 actual watt ufo led and never ph'ing water and only using dyna gro bloom as a nutrient on autoflowers.. in all of that shitty setup I used to pull 1.5-2 oz dry off autos that finished at 14-16 inches tall.

If I could do that in a shitty enviornment so much better should be done in a better setup.


since then I now have fox farms trio plus all their soulubles plus a ph pen.. ph up and down. florakleen for flushing. HB-101 to help start plants.. tons of extra 150 actual watt 2700k cfl's if needed and on and on and on.

It took me 2 years but I have finally gotten my closet to where I want it. painted flat white and use a mars 300 and 93 watt ufo both ful spectrum and i use them both together.

The only thing I would want to change about my room is a fresh air intake/exhaust and when i can afford it.. buying 2 mars 600's. Then I would be complete.

All I want to be able to do is to grow 2 damn good plants.. by damn good I mean 2 plants.. 2 strains that finish at 3 feet tall and yield 6-7 oz dry.. That can be done too because I just got over 3 oz dry off an autoflower under same lighting/conditions.


I'm no pro dope grower by anymeans but I do get better and better each grow and nowadays I can say this.. If I can get the seed to germinate... I can grow some really good weed.

If everything works out good you should love this strain. It has that OG taste you don't want to live without and the holy grail kush might be even better, it definitely grows better, this is just my experience with 2 seeds.
