How long are people waiting to hear back from Health Canada ?

How can you or most people afford those criminal prices? If I had to have my 8g/day limit that would cost me up to $2160 a month. Pretty hard to cover that on my $750/mth CPP-D I must say. I'll have to survive on no-name beans instead of my luxury Heinz Maple Syrup baked beans on toast I get on the days I can't fight the dog off for his kibble.

We got a ButterBall for Xmas dinner this year so life ain't so bad.

Well I have a job.( No offence to those who don't). I spent almost $5000 on my meds last year. But I got to write it off on my taxes. Im really looking forward to growing but the start up cost aren't very cheep. I've already spent over $2000 and I'm gonna have to spend at least another $1000 on more lights and a another tent to veg in. I'm not stressed. I know this investment will pay itself off by years end. But I still don't see how someone on odsp would be able to afford the initial cost of their grown equipment. Even if you went cheep cheep. It still be a min of $5-600.

So I have no money being on social assistance. I cannot work until my psychiatric doctor clears me to go back to work. My friend is paying for my medication right now, because he has means and I am having a rough time.
How would you suggest a person like me find the money to start a grow? I was under the impression that 100's of dollars are needed, And I have none.
Your suggestions are welcome and your opinions are appreciated. Thank you.

Nope, no worries, all good here. Was growing long before having a license and would do it again if I had to. But with that being said I would much, much rather be legal if possible.

that's not an answer. Most people in my situation are not lucky enough to have someone that also has a script to just share their meds with them.
I'm hoping that you can see every person is different and not everyone that uses an LP is trying to shit on you and your friends that have been struggling for so long. Empathy and compassion are key in this scenerio, on both sides. If you have none, that's real sad for you I don't know what that would even feel like.

I've built up my growing over the last 15 years of scrounging and DIY after 30 years of dicking around with little piss-ant grows that taught me where to go to get better at it. I spent a lot of years busting my hump on the job too but can't deal with ice road rigors any more so scrape by on the pittance the gov't hands out.

I've spent maybe $100 on meds in the last 30 years so some might call you a sucker for blowing 5G in one year tax rebate or not.

Your passive/aggressive stance might impress some, but me, not so much.
