I have done some research I've watched a lot of videos but I wondered if I could find any people in the same situation, maybe to share their experience to a noviceresearch the forum, or cant you be bothered
Hi there, I'm looking to try one plant first as I am in England and growth is illegal I've spent around £200/$325 on a small indoor tent, 400watt HPS bulb and relactor, oscillating fan, soil, extra nutrients for each stage, a extractor fan with carbon filter, 3,5,10 gallon pots, a PH meter, a PPM meter, a temperature and humidity meter, I've tried to purchase everything but I'm sure there's something I've missed out?how many plants are going to grow, are you growing in a tent wardrobe, whats your budget
I have also purchased 7 seeds all auto'sHi there, I'm looking to try one plant first as I am in England and growth is illegal I've spent around £200/$325 on a small indoor tent, 400watt HPS bulb and relactor, oscillating fan, soil, extra nutrients for each stage, a extractor fan with carbon filter, 3,5,10 gallon pots, a PH meter, a PPM meter, a temperature and humidity meter, I've tried to purchase everything but I'm sure there's something I've missed out?
Ah perfect I've bought some Girl Scout cookies and some northern lights, what does the intake fan do?the only thing you are missing is an intake fan but you can just use a vent in the tent for a passive intake
what strain are you thinking of growing
i'm in the uk too
The only reason I'm doing auto's is because apperantly they're are the easiest to start with?400watts and a grow tent should be able to support 4 plants. haven't heard many good things about auto
One reason I don't do autos is that you have to run the lights for 18 hours on, which is costly. The only reason I'm doing auto's is because apperantly they're are the easiest to start with?
Thank you very much, do you consider auto's not easier? One reason I don't do autos is that you have to run the lights for 18 hours on, which is costly.
Autos aren't noted for their production either, so next time I would just go with some fem seeds, they will save you money. Use the 3 gallon pots, because as a rule of thumb, 1 gallon per month of grow, so for an 8 week plant they are fine.
Good luck
Not really, a plant is a plant, so you still have to treat autos the same as another normal plant as far as nutes, etc. My feeling is autos are for people that cant be bothered to change the lighting schedule.Thank you very much, do you consider auto's not easier?
Ok, and what is the light schedule for normal feminised? Not really, a plant is a plant, so you still have to treat autos the same as another normal plant as far as nutes, etc. My feeling is autos are for people that cant be bothered to change the lighting schedule.
Standard is 12 hours on, 12 hours off, but I run a 11 hours on to save on electricity, and it works well enough for me.Ok, and what is the light schedule for normal feminised?
Ok thank you also do you have a ballast?Standard is 12 hours on, 12 hours off, but I run a 11 hours on to save on electricity, and it works well enough for me.
Yea, I have several. Most are digital, and I have an old magnetic that I run for a 1000w HPS.Ok thank you also do you have a ballast?
No I don't currently but I am thinking it is starting to become a must, does any magnetic HPS 400w work with any 400w HPSYea, I have several. Most are digital, and I have an old magnetic that I run for a 1000w HPS.
Why, u dont have 1?
Yes, but go digitalNo I don't currently but I am thinking it is starting to become a must, does any magnetic HPS 400w work with any 400w HPS
