So I've got a diy rig that's got around 35v spare it's a 1400 ma driver and I'm wanting to use up this extra space on the driver with some supplemental 660nm, I've got 10 cree xme 660nm photo reds highest bin available, and I am thinking I can run some in parallel on this driver,
the cobs currently on the driver are in series already, so would I add a tripple wago to the positive and negative on dc side where the wires plug into the cobs and run a series circuit , or would I plug a ldd driver that has a output voltage of 25v + with a constant current of 700ma ,
Sorry if this sounds stupid but I'm not the best at this stuff lol.
What I wanna know is oif i use a ldd driver in parallel off the led positive and negative wires via a wago or something would I need to still run parallel of the ldd driver ?
TL;DR .. Driver is a 250w 1400ma 179vdc , currently 4 cxb 3590 on it so there is about 35vdc left to spare. HOW CAN I ADD 10 XPE PHOTO REDS ONTO THIS DRIVER TO MAX IT OUT??
