I am going to be getting evicted from my apartment and i have 2 weeks. My plants are in their 5th week of flowering but aren't quite ready yet. I read somewhere that if you change the light cycle to 11/13 that it helps it mature faster, is this true? If not how can I speed up the flowerig process before I get kicked out? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That really sucks. I don't know the answer to your question, but I would like to say I'm sorry for your trouble.

I would guess he just can't afford his rent with prices skyrocketing the way they are. I know several people that the price of gas to get to work and the price of food to stay alive has made it impossible to meet their rent and utilities. A year ago these same people were getting along just fine.

I understand that there isn't a way to necessarily "speed" up the process but I thought there was a way to mature what I already have faster. But I'm getting evicted from my apartment because the rent is just too much, my main focus has been to pay the power bill Which isn't really that much because I only ave a personal grow of three plants, but the rent just isn't worth it anymore. I'm going to live in my van for awhile and go camping indefinetly!!

How late on rent are you? If that horrible economy is here stateside, you "COULD" make them go thru the courts, depending on your situation. If you have a lease (and in alot of cases you dont even need one) It will take them AT THE VERY LEAST 90 days to actually get you out. It's called the Landlord/Tennant laws. In most states there is an entire process the LL will have to go thru. The only time they can actually "throw your shit on the streets" is in a weekly rental situation (Motel type lease) and even then you have options. I had a couple owed me three months, and I let them slide while they were "trying" to get caught up. I put my foot down after I found out they could afford to party all night alot, and dude was bringing a case of beer home every night, all the while telling me they had no money. It STILL took 4 months to get them out.
Thats just one more reason to not grow in a rental unit. Especially if your finances are shaky.

If you are in a current lease with a set amount they cant raise your rent until your lease is up, or were you on month to month?

That is very useful info! Just so everyone knows...I love to party and enjoy life but I'm very responsible with my money I always make sure I can afford it and still pay any bills I may have, despite how much I love marijuana I am very able to go without when it come to important stuff like rent for instance, I have my portion, it's my POS roomate who doesn't have his. He's an idiot, but out of everything that happens to me in life I try to learn a lesson, and this time...lesson learned!

Let them go as long as you can, while still being safe. If you're being evicted, then your LL might have grounds to be in your place while you're not there. When you no longer have time or dont feel its safe, you cut them. I hope you have a friend that will let you dry them at their house, cause hang drying in your van is going to stink. Someone will notice the smell, and either call the cops or break into your van and take your shit. haha

Dont put yourself at more risk than necessary over a few plants. A drug conviction can completely fuck up a normal life in the states...

Sorry to hear that you're in a rough spot.

Thelastpirate is right dude, you can just stand your ground for about 60-90 days depending on your state law. It will take months of 'hate' mail (threatening letters) before the actual physical act of the county sheriff coming out to make you move occurs.

It all goes back to the "Partner" thing. It almost always never works. Lots of guys want to "partner up" and grow, or "partner up" for any number of reasons. The theory is sound, but in real life the ONLY person you can count on 99% is yourself, and you'd better keep an eye on yourself from time to time. Anytime you rely on others to come up with thier share is a set up for failure. They don't live up to the obligation, then you lose your investment.

Wow, bummer man. Sorry to hear that. I hate to sound like a dick but if you're getting kicked out of your apartment maybe pot shouldn't be what you're focusing on right now...

Again, I'm really sorry to hear about your eviction.

Agreed. The only kind of "partnering" I do is just giving away free weed. My friends gave me free weed when they were growing so I do the same.
