Ive just started using but a cobx4 does a 3x3 n the 9 does a 4x4 so I went a pit mad and after buying one cobx4 for my veg I was so impressed I bought 2 cobx4 and a cobx9 totalling 850 real watts the x4 are 200w/204w the x9 is 450w/51 I've to taste em enen higher now ffs it's insane growth n even my lower canopy is impressive...let's see if I have a pic these shots are from the 27th b4 lights were on I said in my journal that I don't want to take more pics till my 23mp cam phone arrives cuz mines not doing the frost justice she's 5 weeks 6 weeks or so from flip but I count when flowers forums so 4-5 weeks to go n I just started feeding bloom but pk is next feed with a hit of cannazyme to start breaking down the dead roots. I've a 4x4 btw with 5 in there.Does the viapr 600 perform better tan a mars 600 for flowering? The ir chips was a bonus with vipar as mars 300 doesn't have it..was thinking of getting two e27 led bulbs that have both ir and uv..it was 4$ I think. I saw the color difference side by side in 2 different videos with guys using the vipar and mars 300. Yes the vipar was whiter/bluer...its why for veg I would get it for sure..but figured for 30$ less and using for flower now..i thought the added red from the mars will benefit better than vipar 300's or 600's red spectrum. If the results with this mars 300 is decent enough..i either add another one and use cfl's for veg, or I keep the cfl's for flower with the mars and use a vipar 300 for veg. Again, main reason for choice was 30$ less for mars, and better red. Happy New Year!
P.S. The light does look really nice in your pic! How many plants do you grow under it? approximate yield with just that light? Is that a 5 gallon it's in?
