this for sure. But apart from making up the numbers you cannot make statistics say whatever you want. They are fact based and usually lead to a conclusion through math. It's very odd that a grown up person doesn't know this. You can debate ideas and feelings, you can't debate math.
You can take facts and apply statistics in a way as to skew the data to show what you want it to show. Take gun violence for instance. The numbers I am using are not real because I am not interested in arguing about the details. Say there are 10,000 gun deaths in America. If someone wanted to show there was a lot of violence they could say 10,000 people were killed by guns and that is why we need to take them away from everyone but the cops and the government.
However, half of those gun deaths are due to suicide. So, that is not exactly what most people consider gun violence. So theoretically the real number is 5,000 in gun violence.
Do you include the suicide statistic to make the number look bigger? The math didnt change did it?
Now, either you are not aware this is how you are being manipulated by statistics or you are trolling me. Either way, consider yourself informed.
