I'm excited for the show but I really wish that fat sack of shit would finish the next book! I love listening to the audiobooks while I'm mixing up dirt or turning compost piles. And there's like three different plot lines in the books the show is never gonna do and my patience is being tested on some of these cliffhangers!

I have been lurking on here a lot reading up on recycled living soil and loving the simplicity of it over nutes which I started on long ago.. I still have a shit ton of Fox farms sht I have no idea what to do with lol... recently really reading up on no till and such.. even on a non cannabis side of things as well.

I got a shelf full of bottled nutes that I'm never gonna use the rest of. And I have bags of guano that I'll never use because my soil has become so rich from recycling that I no longer need the boost from it.

Ha I have given up on the books tbh lol he has already stated that the books are going to have a different plot then the show... I highly doubt he finishes them though. You should check out rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson and Scott Lynch if you're into GRRM! I'm a fantasy novel nerd big time lol

sometimes I use dried comfrey leaves, sometimes fresh, sometimes hay, sometimes woodchips (believe it or not I am getting good results with ramial woodchips as mulch) , sometimes fall leaves .... I really like using the comfrey whenever I can find it because it also feeds my flowering plants beautifully every watering ...

comfrey is badass, natures calmag, with the perfect amount of macros as well,a nd it's all readily soluble due to the carbon ratio
GREAT stuff to use, in fact I am tinkering with a complete grow using NOTHIN but comfrey, alfalfa meal, kelp, and compost.
shit only thing left is stinging nettles, which I have yet to tinker with

man... I had some extreme ass-pain when i was alot younger, the fuckin Robert Jordan books never ended, the dude died, and then got a ghost writer or whatnot and got boring as fuck.
I was pissed..
I reaaaaally hope it doesn't happen with the game of thrones stuff
the last book was lame as shit
the HBO series is damn near the best shit ever though.
and the women.... oh my god..
the chick that married Rob was jawdropping hot..

yea I had a bunch too, and ya know what works badass?
collect the treeleaves when its raining or has rained, then dump them on a tarp, sprinkle with nitrogen guano, and just toss em like a salad, dusted with guano it'll get toasty hot and kick up the thermophilic compost, works like alfalfa sorta.
or you could simply leave you guano out in the rain like I did too...
effectively will get ya to toss it
roses, jasmine, lavender and avocados love the stuff too

the HBO series is damn near the best shit ever though.

The girl that played Shae did porn. Along with some of Little Finger's hookers. Not the girl that played TV Robb Stark's wife. And I feel like you're just challenging me to nerd out and hijack this thread???? Lol

Dance seemed like it was trying wrap things up? More like it seemed like he was starting a whole new book series on top of the current one and how in God's name will be wrap it up in two more books?

That being said...It's important to remember that A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons...along with several unpublished chapters his editors had him move to the next book because of binding concerns (a novel can only be so many pages before it becomes unprofitable to bind and sell as one book)...we're all supposed to be one book...

So I'll grant you that Feast and Dance aren't the fast actions plots of Storm of Swords. But they contain some of the best passages of poetry and commentary on cyclical violence and the nature of politics, war, and economics.

If you're familiar with the prequel books you can spot the parralells with the past that he is drawing and his commentaries on history and the way that we perceive it in the current.

They are brilliant fucking books. Be a more comprehensive reader dog!

I guess I just didn't like a lot of the "new targaryen" plot line seemed like a cop out or a purposeful twist just because people started predicting what he was plannin... but I'm sure I will still read the remaining books if they ever come out... let's not kid ourselves here... I have invested years waiting for him to finish I can't just NOT read it... personally though I'm more excited for more Mistborn and stormlight archive from Brandon Sanderson as well as Patrick rothfuss's next one... It's not a new Targaryen it's the beginning of a sixth Blackfyre rebellion! It's history repeating itself, Targaryen rule is constantly plagued by misrule, or rebellion from within it's own family or it's legitimized offshoot bastard house. Danny's reign will be no different (and probably a combination of the two) he drops some mad clues throughout the second, third, and fourth book especially (The septon's story about the cross roads inn and the clanking black dragon sign with three heads and one of the heads washed up years later rusted red).

Have you read any of the released Winds of Winter chapters? In particular The Forsaken? Euron Grayjoy's role in the books will be a much grander one. And way more interesting!

I read any genre as long as the writing is quality, I'll check those other guys out! Note when I say read I mean audio book...Can't be playing in dirt and holding pages at the same time lol.
