Gonna start my second l.e.d grow soon and I'm wondering what would be the best nutes to use for fox farm ocean forest soil? thanks in advance for all the help. I will be using 3 gallon smart grow pots with a 600-watt platinum l.e.d. in a grow tent size 48”W x 24”D x 60” H. I used general hydroponics grow box but I think it's more for hydro grows and I'm not doing that right now

ffof trio...

The GH growbox isn't a bad option but try stuffing all of those additives into a grow safely without burning everything up can be a challenge.
Look into the Dyna Gro line and especially the Foliage Pro. I used to use the Dyna-Gro but Doc here turned me onto the Foliage Pro instead of the Grow and I've had good results ever since. Its practically all I use throughout all of the veg period and even right into flowering.
....And its inexpensive compared to some as well.
Also nothing wrong with the FF trio as well.

FFOF if mixed with 25% perlite is the ideal grow mix (imo) tho expensive in some places,

many growers can go from early germ to mid flower without any extra nutes

but I like to give a boost of flowering nutes about then

week 6-8, fault cans easily appear around nuting and over feeding

I urge caution as FFOF is seen as a hot mix by many

good luck

They're all, more or less, the same. Depending on how much work you want to do you can get more control over what you're giving your plants and get a 16 part system. Or you can just get the cheapest 3 part available and pay attention to your plants needs and it'll will work about the same. Most of how strains turn out is dependent on genetics, so there is only a range of how good or bad they can turn out.

foilage pro start to finish.I add bioag pure fulvic acid as a chelater and The only other thing i add is floralicious + at 1ml a gallon in the ripening stage to promote bud density, resin production and flavor.

Interesting. How big are the pots and how often do you trans. Do you amend the liming agent? If not how does the Mag hold up on you?

Doesn't really matter, just interested....Never lasted that long for me, when I played with FF soils.

Ive amended with dolo. before, but not that particular run. I was getting some burn from it, using the measurements I found online.

I transplanted my seedlings into 3gs OF after a week. 5 weeks from then I did a little veg feed (nearing the end of week 2 12/12) and they clawed. Pretty bad claws too.

The strain was Northern Lights from Vision seeds.

I see, that explains lots to me! (Seedlings to 3's)
I do Solo's to 1's to 2's to final up potting in bloom soil with 5's.....Home built organics. I run them fairly long and up pot on a time sched that is very close to needing feed...

I found some time back if playing with straight OF. i needed to amend with 1/2 cup Dolo per bag to make the Ca and Mg last out the run's.......

Cool and thanks for the reply xSwim!

Yes the dolomite lime pellets are sold everywhere and cheap and they are time released. Add 3 tbs to 5 gallon and I also mix black gold organic and black gold perlite. Lime is the best!! Now I need an oranic flower booster with trace minerals...any ideas?

Build your own! Best way to go! Why trace minerals? Didn't you use a rock dust or a mineral source on building the soil? If it's short term for like FFOF etc. It's covered. Minerals are long term availability things.
