Mammoth P

I just got my sample too and i've just started to include it. I'm running a side-by-side on two strain tables in flower only.

I've decided to include it with my twice weekly bennie treatment rather than tossing it into the res - should go further that way.

It's definitely not cheap, that's why i was interested in testing this product and getting reviews, i was sent a sample pack and going to try to see how good it works. I do believe in using microbes so i do think it could be beneficial , just seeing if it's worth the price tag.

Free sample. Free.

Gonna try it.
So far i have applied 2x , i run ROLS so i am hoping these microbes like to stay in my soil. I haven't seen anything negative, i am approx week 5 flower hoping to see some nice bulking from the extra P.

GrowMau5 ran this stuff, and was so impressed with it, he quit his side by side... not sure if it was a mistake to do that, aND not just wait and see A full yields worth of difference, but the stuff does seem to work. I think he got like one extra ounce than normal by running it. Not 100% on that tho.

Used it worked good not worth the money for the added benefit. Personally I spend 60 on WP mycos, 55 on azos, and 50 on some shilajit and you'll be innoculated better and can do it every watering/feeding. I use azos and mycos in flower every feeding and every other week in veg. Big difference mammoth p was nice but too much for not enough results for me. I'll spend 100$ less and get better results

I don't think azos does anything, that type of bacteria is for langumes, but i also use the mykos and like you said, mammoth p real expensive but it's working really good.

I picked up an $80 bottle based on Growmau5's video. Just used 5ml in 10g for my first feeding in veg on Sunday. Unfortunately this is my first grow and it is almost completely inspired by watching Growmau5's videos so I can't really say how well it will or won't work as I have nothing to compare against.

I received the free sample (20ml) and I'm using it but not so much as directed. I'm doing a side by side but have only added 1ml/g in flower and for the waterings. If I see results using this method then I'd buy it in the future but if I have to use more then it's not worth it.

Eh who knows is what it is still cheaper to run it all rather than mammoth p lol and works better

Into second run using Mammoth P but first time attempting a reasonably credible side-by-side test.

Headed into week 5, Larry OG from same clone, x4 plants per table, one table running Mammoth P and the other not.

Setup:

>> All under Gavita 750's at 825w on 12/12 schedule
>> Growing in coco/perlite 50:50 mix
>> 8 week veg, flowering in 3gal pots
>> Sealed room w/CO2, 80-83F + RH50% (RH60% at canopy); night time 70F
>> Root zone temps 72-76F
>> drip drain to waste fed 5 x 1 min per day, total around 1gal per plant per day
>> dry salt fertilizer program maxed at 1.8EC + pH always at 5.8
>> only other bios used are Hydroguard, Recharge (and BioAg Vam mix at transplant only)

Table 1 no Mammoth P
Table 2 running Mammoth P, included in twice weekly Recharge "tea", not in fertigation.

Mammoth P sidebyside1.jpg
No discernible difference in quality of canopy. Both tables healthy and perky.

Mammoth P sidebyside3.jpg
Flowers set on table 2 much earlier than table 1, with bud sites established by week 2. More than half the cola tops on table 2 are looking fuller at the same development stage.

Mammoth P sidebyside2.jpg
Canopy is thick and green and waxy leaves on both tables, but table 2 showing some interveinal deficiency on youngest leaves. Unlikely Mg as plenty added so may be iron.

TBH I only noticed this once editing pics to clean up the yucky HPS light color temps; hadn't noticed with lights on.

I've been told iron can be imbalanced at the root zone if fertigation rates are too high, so I might have to look at my 5x1min drip schedule.

Mammoth P sidebyside4.jpg
The most noticeable difference in the tables being the branch thickness and growth vigor of table 2. I've never had such robust and sturdy branches and they are evidently thicker/stronger than on table 1.

Some on table 2 were becoming difficult to train beneath the scrog by week 3 due to rigidity and really push up on my screens.

IMG_5406_1.jpg
The main stems are also thick and trunk-like, with very sturdy and woody roots bursting out the medium. The above stems are about 1inch diameter, with the top of the root ball more like 3.5" inches in circumference.

Quality and strength of branches seem to be the biggest added value when using the Mammoth P. Flowers also set much quicker and seem further along in swelling than without Mammoth P; with impressive weight put on even for week 4.

First run with Mammoth P I just went at it and very learned quickly I was overfeeding them and got some pretty spectacular foxtailing. Consequently I rolled back my feed EC to 1.8 (previously 2.1-2.2).

I kept it at 1.8EC for the sake of this little test.

It seems like with Mammoth P you need to feed lighter or will run into problems. Fox-tailing I presume from excessive P made available by this stimulant with all other variables seemingly equal.

That first run also yielded 2lb/per for the first time ever, which prompted me to do this little study. Was it due to Mammoth P? Will need to see out this test run before I decide.

Price is bonkers but i've been stretching this free sample pretty far by including it in the twice weekly brew of Recharge instead of putting 1-2ml per gal in the reservoirs.

Using it this way may have restrained the potential of Mammoth P, but due to cost I can't see myself including it as a regular additive at full strength.

If you're running teas and looking for a little extra bump, or maybe you just love the latest & greatest in a groovy bottle then check out Mammoth P. It might be worth every one of your pretty pennies.

Thanks for a side by side.

That's no way enough increase to justify $200L. I'd want the difference between soil and hydro/coco for that.
