Yup they're gonna have to act like the big players in food...either offer returns or off a up front rebate to cover future losses from stales and coded-out product. That's how it works in retail. You either honor the product returns or pay up...up front. Ask Coke ..Pepsi...Kraft....Hershey's...etc.
They all pay the buyer with a rebate or a big cheque in the beginning and there after a well. Or the big players won't buy from you.......ask Walmart or Loblaws.
You even need to pay to have your product listed even usually.
The consumer ends up paying for it in the end.

That's how the perishable market place operates....have fun LP's....lol

I personally make my own edibles ..... even buying something like a hotdogs off the street is gross.... even if it was in a fancy chocolate bar wrapper... :spew:

Nothing beats a hotdog or sausage from a street meat vendor at 1am when you are completely baked, it is one of the few things I miss from my old city.

Sometimes you just gotta take risks in your life, a little food poisoning never killed anyone :wink:

You also get the enjoyment of seeing the drunks beat each other silly over the last sausage if you are lucky, so you get some free entertainment to go with your food.

What was the weed like, aside from being tainted with pesticides? Anybody have a photo of Canopy weed? All I could find was this but I don't know what company it came from. Apparently 12% THC, pretty weak by most standards. HC weed on the right, compared to real weed on the left. If that's what they're selling people then they're really screwing them over on price. That's like half leaf and stem. Those buds on the left aren't that great either though.

Actually that was probably an old site from years ago, but I know that a weed company called Tweed is associated with Canopy Growth Corp and on their site all they have is one THC strain, it has 17% THC and they charge $12 a gram for it. The rest are all CBD strains. Apparently they have other strains in the works for when rec opens up. All pretty high priced. Probably won't be hard to compete with the LPs even after legalization. Only rubes will pay those inflated prices.

They also don't show any pics. How well manicured and cured could mass produced buds be? They claim one is 24% for $9. Even if it really is that potent, which I doubt, who would pay that price in quantity? That's $250 an oz. I have yet to see a review of any of the supposed 24-30% weed strains where the person said it was different from any other average weed. They never said it was like night and day and now they will never buy normal weed again. These THC tests are a big scam. They just have the only the top well cleaned buds submitted for testing and then sell badly manicured middle and bottom bud. I also know none of them go a full 10 weeks. They'll harvest at 8 for convenience purposes. That means their buds will be harsh.
