What's up everybody! The Quantum boards from Horticulture Lighting Group have landed. Many thanks to @robincnn and @Stephenj37826 for making this possible. I dubbed these Megaforce.

I'll be doing a 10 plant sog grow with Underdog og clones that I just transplanted from the clone dome into 1 gallon pots filled with coco/perlite and gs2 grow stones.
Fed Jacks 321.5 plus Ful-power.
Will veg them 5 to 7 days then flip.

They're running at 110w now and I will probably max it out at 200w for the duration of the grow.

They are super light weight. So much so that my 2 interior fans, a 6" pole fan and Vornado fan have them bobbing around. Only been on about 2 hours but temps haven't budged yet.

Any technical questions, please refer to the DIY with Quantum boards thread here https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-with-quantum-boards.927159/

These are available as stand alone boards to DIY or complete kits through Northern grow lights https://northerngrowlights.com/

Let the games begin!

Do you have your pot open on the driver or are you dimming? That's an absolute metric butt tonne of light for that space ha ha.
Yeah, tent looked small for that much light. I've grown in a 2x2 w/ four CXB3590s..I knew too much light in that space.

He said hes dimmed to ~100w, and 200w was his goal at bloom.. This seems about right with a slightly larger foot print and more vertical room. I ran ~90-100w in flower with my setup, but was dealing with a 3' ceiling limitation and had to keep temps in check.

His setup should rock out, and allow him to likely run this in a larger 3x3 or even 4x4 at full throttle. I like it!

@NapalmD Tent looking bright and those 10 plants look great. Thanks for helping us with a journal. Should be awesome :weed:

Sharing some details. Feel free to discuss any DIY related questions in DIY thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-with-quantum-boards.927159/
HLG-320H-C2800A Driver with 4x boards on 4x slate 1 heatsink.
1216 pcs total Samsung 561C S5 LED's
Max power around 390 watts at wall.
This lamp can provide enough light for 4x4. Will be dimmed for this 2x2.5 and @NapalmD may consider using these lamps in a 3x3 next time

robin, I thought I was beginning to understand these drivers. I thought "HLG-320" meant 320 watts was max output. But you're saying 390 watts at the wall. The driver's not consuming 60W, is it?

Also, how exactly is this one wired? It's always helpful to give the specifics when describing a working combination.

Depending on the output current and voltage these drivers can output more than rated. Ratings are likely minimum not a maximum

Some drivers will give more than rated. No the drivers efficiency is good it's just outputting more than the rated current (I'll take it) lol.

Ok , so i gotta have this. Why the HLG 320-2800 series, i see captain Morgan is running a 240-2100, can someone offer opinion on which i should go with. The heatsinks, where to get, northern? Then you mounted on aluminum chassis.
