My first LED garden! What to expect in future?

Hello Gents,

Is this okay growth for a first time grower? Plant is 17inches. It got massive nitrogen burn along with the rest 10 days ago so I flushed them with lots of water and they sort of came back to life. Also had to lollipop a lot of dead leaves a handful from each plant. Seeds are from Barneys; 2 x Skunk # 1- 2 x Pineapple Chunk and 1 x LSD (runt, will probably retire)

I want to flip them for fowering stage in 7 days. How much yield can I expect with 600 watts of LED with 4 plants under it? Currently they are under 300watt led. Will appreciate any feedback :)

Thanks for reading.

That isn't nute burn, that's P/K/Mg def from overwatering. Other than that, it looks mostly healthy. Water every 3-5 days. Expect 1-4 ounces.

Thank you for the tip. I flushed them a week ago and haven't watered since they feel damp and the pots little heavy. I fed them raw nitrogen before the burn, first dosage showed massive growth but then second dosage I kinda over did it. Wasn't watering much, was using 4-5 day gap.

1-4!!??? :(

Potentially more, with your volume of plants. Maybe 2 ounces per plant. As a low estimate. With optimum lighting, each plant should be capable of 1-4 ounces.

It may be the frequency of your watering, but I am positive I am seeing overwatering. Probably because you flushed, which, with respect, I have no idea why you would flush a young, veg'ing plant like that. You flush near the end if flower, if at all, bro.

On another note, I'm actually pretty impressed at the effect those weird ass lights are effecting those plants. Nice.
Thank you! They were my only option considering my first grow. I like the weird ass lights :D

Newbie mistake on my part. But the garden was close to rotting the scent changed drastically as they died and died and started smelling like a swamp got scared that they'd be gone for good! After flushing they came back to life so I just thought maybe I overfed. I'm scared I may have reduced the potency of the original NPK soil I used.

How tall should they be to yield close to 6 or 7oz? I LST'd them so new grow sites are showing up more frequently.

1-4 will break my noob heart :(

That tells me your soil bacteria went anaerobic, or you somehow got anaerobic bacteria to build up in your soil.

6-7 ounces, you'll likely need better light.

Bacteria!? That's an eye opener for me if you are sure because I I used nitrogen which was local and not good of quality, can't have fancy nutrients with bob marley's on them in my country :p

I'll get a brand commercialized nitrogen next time for growth. Thank you for your knowledge

If you truly want to grow good shit, you need good nutes, good medium, good genetics, and good lighting. Your lighting actually surprises me, so focus on the rest until you can get something else like COBs.

Let's look into the organic route for you. Get one of the big bags of Roots Organics Original medium (probably 25-50 bucks.). Then buy either the Roots Organics 5ml Master Pack (~$49) or the Roots Organics Dry Nutrients Player Pack($70-80.). Don't worry, because it'll last a few grows. You can recycle the medium, and if you roll with the dry nutes, it'll last quite a while.

Then get some good beans and eventually 200-400w worth of COB lighting.

About the lights;

I have two flood lights that are above 5 cfl.

100w LED flood light IP67 just like the one attached in pic but the only difference is that the cre chips have a built in magnifier. The website says its equal to 250 HPS :/ I take it for a lot lesser so rounded off to 300w. Actual may be less or more.

2 x 100w LED Floods

+

4 x 45w cfl
1x27w cfl

Its weird but thats all I could buy and it saved my electricity bill a lot.

We dont have name brand nutrients here so Id have to use whatever tomatoes can use.

Thank you for your knowledge, really. Ill be a non-noob in no time :D

Use those flood lights if you've got them, but I think if you look into making a COB fixture with Vero or Citizen, you can grow a half pound to a pound per plant.

For flowering I was thinking 4 x 100w floods + 8 x 45w CFLs would those suffice for 4 plants to yield around 7oz combined?

They sell tomato ferts though right? And flower ferts? (garden flowers need the same nutes as cannabis for flower). Those will generally work well. Just avoid anything that says "time release" or "feeds for 90 days"

You don't just want nitrogen. You need a balanced N/P/K nutrient. The massive nitrogen you gave them locked out the P/K that they need. You washed out the nitrogen which is good, but now they need P/K and well as N.

Sound like a solid plan, I'll gather info on flower nutrients too now Will test the right addition of NPK
