Anthocyanins are a group of natural occurring pigments responsible for the red-blue colour of many fruits and vegetables. Anthocyanins are of interest for two reasons because they cannot only be used in the technological field as natural colorants but also have important implications in the field of human health. Numerous studies indicate the potential effect that this family of flavonoids may have in reducing the incidence of cardiovascular disease, cancer, hyperlipidemias and other chronic diseases through the intake of anthocyanin-rich foods.

Mendo purps, mile high purps, grandaddy purp..... all taste EXACTLY the same and no high. I didnt grow any of them, they were from different sources when i was a "street pharmacist" in Houston.

I Have always thought my GDP has purple taste if the color purple does have a flavor. Also my grapes are purple which purple may taste like too.

maybe different shades of the color purple taste like different things. if we could taste the color.

So you mean to tell me it taste good but smoke bad as far as couchlock high (my kinda high) its not strong right?

yea its got a bunch of health benefits, i doubt smoking would allow them to work but if i recall the anthocyanins behave odd when the temps increase up in the rosin pressing temps 140+°F? anyway, they reportedly disintegrate at some tempetature. also trace element abyndance is a helpful factor to bring out the exotic colors found when growing organically. like azomite rock dust.
