Mars Hydro - Great LIghts..... for parts.I am using one of the original 6 drivers that were in the Mars Hydro.
(50 W - 100v - 550ma ) which actually works fabulously.

This is just great! Which Mars panel did you use to salvage the drivers? I have a Mars 600 old model that will be retired before the summer if I could use those drivers with these boards.
You have dark bars in your pics. When that happens under HID, it's due to the sine wave curve of AC power delivered to the lights. Since these are DC driven, I'm wondering what's up?
Maybe the driver has a bit of trouble regulating the current? You have dark bars in your pics. When that happens under HID, it's due to the sine wave curve of AC power delivered to the lights. Since these are DC driven, I'm wondering what's up?
@robincnn ? Any ideas? Might it have something to do with his cheap driver?
One can see from the posting directly below that Meanwell drivers don't do this.
In a way, but the interference pattern is how you tell the light is being pulsed.I think its just @Budzbuddha camera setup making it look like that.
