if you ever do break a branch stem all you need to do is tie it up with some thing hold it together tightly it will mend most of the time .

Support those late bloom weight gaining branch's! They'll be fine as long as you have them supported now!
This.

Get some bamboo stakes or something similar and stab one in the soil in each corner. Be gentle. It wont hurt id you break a few roots.

Use that to make a frame around the plant.

I agree. They need some N and back off the watering some.
They need the N to temper the high P.......Bloom foods too early.

I just spent the mourning and lunch with a rep from XXX nutrient company (An old friend from Ukiah). We chatted about poor nutrient charting for cannabis by nutrient makers! They (makers) know most buyers are using it for cannabis but,,,,the charting is not exactly for cannabis! Flowers, fruiting plants and exotics.....

I said they could do better and maybe make a 3 stage nutrient. Or list a 3 part change in ratio that covers the more even veg to early bloom. The sharp rise in P and minor drop in N needs with mid bloom. Then the drop in P/N needs and the jump in K needs at late bloom.. He agreed that K is lacking across the board in so many formula's...

It's all in finding the right packaged ratio's. Then applying them properly to the plants "need's". I told him I was still doing water only. he looked me in the eye and asked if I still had Age Old Grow and Bloom on my shelf, along with my 3-2-5 "tea" and the 0-0-6 K "mushroom juice" and Kelp extract? Um, yeah! So do you use them if you see the plant "telling" you it needs something??? Uuummm, yeah! It might be water only soil to you but, the plant is still telling you what it wants.....

Now then, he says. How do you teach that to these new growers? How about the novice guy relying on his favorite line and adjusting? Whoa, there big fella! That guy is on his way to learning "what the plant is telling him". Ok then, several makers are still looking for input on just how to bridge that gap! I said that'll be a long bridge! it takes time to learn and experimenting to find it out.

He replied by saying that idea of a base with a 3 step is what he would like to see also. "Wouldn't that make it easier for newbies and novices?" ( I smelled a plot here) "Sure would!" I answered. Start thinking about us making our own company.....Do it KISS!
1 Base, 3 step nutrient bottles. Higher concentrations and use less proper charting with Indica vs, Sativa adjustments! Later maybe a Si and some of your Mg-K sulfate supplements.....What do you think?

Well,,,,I'll think about it!!!!

Hmm, I'm still running it around in my head.....What do you think about that ? If it was done right, easy, and worked as charted.....Would you try it over what you use now? even to test it?

I'm temped!

I prefer organic.

I've used dynagro foliage pro, rxgreensoulutions two part veg and bloom.

I agree that most canna specific products are just to make money.

I prefer the one jug with everything including micros thagt the dynagro offers.

I also tried kind nutrients. Tried a sample of Advance a and b bottles.

Its all the same stuff in different ratios.

In my opinion N is needed all the way through. I like balanced feeds better.

Some prefer to tinker and adjust. To each their own.

Oh, yeah! I get that. I want an organic line! There is money in synthetics and that's the market he wants to breach first.....I see his point.

I see your point....I don't see a "base" in an organic line.....Just a pre bottled 3 "part" designed to run a specific times! Charted reductions for most sativa's...No "magic this or that" crap!

Just throwing a line out. Kinda wondering what the fishing would be like.....It's a big investment! I want to be careful, ya'know?

It's like I went into a Hydro shop yesterday for a mogal fixture to do a vert hang of a UV source.

HOLY FUCKING CRAP! I never knew there was SOO MUCH out there in nutrient lines today!
(place has everything and is huge! Dope growing mega mart!!)

Colorful and "normal" packaging. Display's with unrealistic promises of use this and grow the best to our light makes plants happier.... I'm used to going into the local flower shop and picking up old school stuff that worked forever! It was like a culture shock! "Farm boy goes to big city and is scarred for life!"

He wants me to try and buy into a market like that?

See what I mean?

I can see that. I could see running a line like you are talking about. No bs approach.

I thought about getting into the soil business. Organic water only mixes. I no shit have guys that buy my soil by the 5 gallon bucket when I mix it.

I mix it hot and tell them to mix it with equal soil in a hole and most are blown away to see plants go all the way with no additives besides occasional top dressing.

Any more I just put a couple handfuls of vermicompost and castings in each pot once a month with a pinch of espoma garden tone.
