is my butter too strong?

I did the crock pot method for dummies
strained it in cheese cloth 2x
also did the double/second rinse in water

I notice mine is very very dark... is this a sign of potency?

2lbs butter
1.5oz trim
1.5oz old old very old dried out un-selaed less desirable buds (mandala hashberry)

id like it strong but also taste ok

should I cut it with more butter before baking or let it ride

no, dark butter is not a sign of potency.
potency is subjective, your trim/strain may be different potency than mine,
it might taste good to you. It might be too strong for you. or you might be weak. but good news is you could /increase/reduce your dose to make it perfect for you.
I extract from my buds and use the extraction infused into butter/oil for cooking/dosing. No hay taste, no chlorophyll etc.

try it out. do it on a lazy saturday with no other plans. Bear in mind, it can take awhile to take effect. so dont take more for at least 2 hours. i usually start with 0.5-1 tablespoon. you can smoke one at about the same time and by the time that starts to wear off, the other should kick in.

I ate half a cookie
it was mild

my wife who has severe nuerological health disabilities ate 1 cookie and it was perfectly strong enough

thanks guys
