My first grow had come from the curiosity of how hard it would be to grow organic cannabis using only fully organic materials not in a bottle or synthetic. So I decided to buy some grow lights on Alibaba.com and most of my nutrients and organic pesticides came from Buildasoil.com. Unfortunately the two "ah sooooo" chinese lights died and I had to get an alternative quick. Platinum Led. I did a Lil reading around and decided to take a leap. After buying two I realized I had been sucked in like everyone else but was determined to see how good of a grower I could be considering how new to this whole thing I was (and still am). My first grow from three plants was 3oz. Ouch! I thought. Did I make the right decision. Then I got 4oz off two plants. And I began to think maybe this wasn't a bad purchase after all

That's not bad at all from 180 watts. See if you can hit 6 oz and you'll be at the gold standard of 1 g/W

The p300 is an awesome light. Please don't let others tell you different. I actually only ordered one off Amazon but they sent me two accidentally. I was extactic to say the least. I use both for one plant and she is f'in thriving!

I'm hoping this snow fruit is gonna do that. It's looking bigger and better than both last ones and I think I got the scrog down decent for a noob.
To be honest, the trellis nets make terrible scrog screens, IMHO. Too loose and stretchy to really keep them under control. Get you some 1/2 thinwall PVC, some corners and some screw and make a nice tight screen from non-stretchy cord (I used polished hemp). Weave the net and tie each intersection together tightly with a bit of yarn or other string:

Then when the branches grow up through it, supercrop them over and tie them to it so the branch is forced to grow horizontal, as it turns upward keep pushing it back down and tying it to the next square.

They are good lights, but overpriced, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. I bought the net at a box store for like a buck and it works but I do need to upgrade. Thanks

Nice crop bud!
I have 2 P450's they do amazing work.
I've received almost noting but hate from people on this forum calling them crap for various reasons.
But despite their claims that the lights are terrible, I just last week pulled over 2 grams per watt with them in a small space and got over 2 pounds off 3 plants.
Their lights are a bit pricey but they have a no haggle 5 year warranty.
Most company's don't even cover their products for 3 years.
So for me it was worth the extra buck.
Just be aware of the many many PLED haters on this forum, their annoying as hell.

If you would like to see my last grow with them click out the link to my journal below \/

comparing COB grows with multi band LED grows like the viparspectra or platinum grow light on this site and youtube I don't see a difference. maybe the folks criticizing you are suffering from the "COB EFFECT" :):):). as a T5 growers I have no bias I this area

I second that my first grow I got 3oz dried off of three plants which is shit but I didn't have to buy any and save 700 bucks with 60 dollars worth of power. My second grow I got 4oz of quality buds but they were a bit small nug wise but that's like a 1000 dollar saving compared to the unknown when getting it from someone
