Yield Lab reviews?

Hey, so I am replacing 3 Quantum 1000w digital ballasts and found a good deal on these Yield Lab 1000w, that seem very similar. Anybody have any experience with this brand? Have read a few mixed reviews, but not a lot out there. Mostly that they crapped out before too long, but with 3 year warranty, could get them replaced.

Any other good deals? I guess I'd like to keep the cost down to $150 - $200 each.

I'm really not sure, I think this is a Chinese made ballast and looked at it before I bought an alternative brand which I just got today from vivosun. I had trouble finding your labs support for replacement parts if needed. When it comes to things like this expected not to last year's but instead look at customer support and the quality of the company.

Here's the update as far as Growace, I emailed them and they got back with me within 24hrs requesting a pic of the 4 digit number, and 24 hours later I had a notification of a replacement bulb shipping verification and tracking number... Great customer service..

Almost all (mof i cant think of a brand that isnt) electronic "digital" HID ballasts for cultivation are made in China. And from about 5 to 8 companys that all share internal parts. Your going to get a few lemons out of so many that get shipped to the western markets. Try and find the brands that back a 5 year warranty as opposed to a typical 3 year. And as far as bulbs...Grow Ace claim Yield Lab 6 and 1000 watter HPS bulbe are better than Ushio and Digilume (or max???) and almost as good as Hortilux but for 25 to 40 bucks a bulb. Can anyone back this bold claim up or is Grow Ace just trying to sell Yield Lab Chinese bulbs? With bulbs...ive found there is a difference between ones made in Germany (Ushio) and U.s.a. (Hortilux) and all the rest. But with Amazon prices on these it wouldnt be a bad idea to just grab em...use em on one run maybe two and ditch em for another brand new one. Ensuring a fresh PAR bulb every crop..instead of Hortilux which are the best no question but way overpriced. And those still are only good for 3 to 5 runs anyways.
