Ok flipped! I removed the tie-downs on the longest colas yesterday giving them a chance to straighten out a bit although some haven't turned upright just yet. With the crates under the two shorter plants the canopy is even within a few inches but I sure wish they were naturally the same height. I'm not sure if it's genetics or maybe some type of result of the positioning or rotation on my part but regardless I'm excited that I'm finally moving into flower. It's my second grow ever and my first mainline attempt so in the grand scheme of things despite being bummed out about their inconsistent heights, I'm happy that they are alive and seemingly pretty content. Thanks again for everyone's help!

Edit: So out of curiosity I went back through my journal to see if anything popped out at me that could have led to the inconsistent heights and dig this. The smallest one is the one that was 5 days behind as a seedling, the second tallest was the one whose 1 of 2 main colas (at that time) I snapped. So it would seem that we just have one that was behind all along and one that was stunted a bit because of me snapping it shortly after topping.

I'm about 5 day into flower and things are going well. I think I'll give them a 1/4 tsp dose of jack's citrus next watering and then start slowly introducing jack's aquagold finisher. I defoliated them a bit after posting the previous update. I've got to get in there and separate the colas a bit to ensure they all have good exposure to light.

I am still following your grow and posts! I appreciate you keeping us updated! I am likely to follow your process this spring when I pop some DJ short BB!

Cheers and Merry Christmas

Plants are stretching and doing well. I gave them 1/4 tsp of jacks aquagold with a pinch of jacks citrus last watering. I'm pretty stoked, they seem to be filling up the space nicely. I can't wait for my updated lighting rig to go up, I just added 3 more CLU048s at 3K to serve as a bloom booster.

Wow, I feel like it has been forever since I've updated my journal. We are on the verge of having our baby boy (currently 6 days past due date hehe) so time has been whirling by. My plants seem to be doing great. We are at 2.5 weeks into flower and I'm getting some really good development. They all still seem to be stretching a bit, the one on the far left is by far the tallest. The other two seem to be focusing a lot of their effort on bulking up. I've been alternating their feeds between pure water and 1/4 tsp. of jack's aquagold with a pinch of jack's citrus.

I decided to slap reflectors on the outer rows of lights to focus more energy down now that the plants have a pretty consistent shape. The center lights are the ones I recently integrated (CLU048s @ 3K). I left them bare to offer 3k coverage throughout. The outer lights are 3500k.

Wow the one on the left has really stretched! Hopefully the flowers will fill in and it will be one BIG cola!

Cheers and early congrats on a new baby boy!

Thanks man! Yeah the left one has me a bit worried, I was thinking about throwing it in the center to give it the most coverage possible. It also happens to be the hungriest/thirstiest. I wish it would stop stretching and focus more on flower formation but who knows, it has been lanky the entire grow while the others have been very thick.

Ok things are really starting to pick up now, I'm just over 3 weeks into flower. Nothing new or exotic in the routine, just a 1/4 tsp of jacks aquagold finisher with a pinch of jack's citrus every other watering.

We are just shy of 5 weeks in flower and my yellowing on the one plant (largest) has started to come back. Since I've skipped feeding twice now, I went ahead and hit them with a 1/2 tsp of aquagold finisher. I'm hoping that since there isn't a bunch of curling or praying going on that this means they are in fact hungry. These shots were moments after watering hence the slight droopiness from still being a tad dry. Things are looking good otherwise, temps are always between 68° and 75° while my humidity is always below 35%. Starting to see purpling coming out all over the place now.

Still looking good! I don't mind one or two lower leaves yellowing, that will happen as leaves will die off as the flowers are using nutrients now to grow and the lower leaves aren't getting light for energy!

What do you have growing in your pots with your pot!?

Colas are stacking nicely!

Cheers

Red, white and crimson clover with some vetch and flax!

Any particular reason for growing those in your pots? Or just cool ground cover?
Nitrogen fixation, the clover feeds the plants and when it comes time to re-amend the soil I won't need to add as much. That plus 24 to 48 hours before the plants droop the clover will so i don't have to wonder or finger up the soil to know its status.

Ahhh...great idea...will try that myself...did you get the clover, vetch and.flax from seed?

Cheers
