absolutelyLooks like calcium def of ph out of wack
because you've been growing for ten years you have enough experience to amend your soil and mix your nutes so that you don't need it..maybe??I've never used a pH meter and I've grown in hydro and soil.. My leaves are always healthy and I've been growing over 10 years. I'm curious how often do you water them? What size pots are you using and what nutrients?
With a proper soil mix it is not needed. As organic matter decays it creates ions that buffer pH.because you've been growing for ten years you have enough experience to amend your soil and mix your nutes so that you don't need it..maybe??
and your lucky enough to have source water that is with inn range not to give you problems...guess??
doesn't mean its not a useful tool
isn't that what i said?because you've been growing for ten years you have enough experience to amend your soil and mix
My nuits call for 4.8-5.5. So I guess I've switched to 6.5 (roughly ) about a week before put to bed.how an individual amends there soil for ph control is going to be in direct relationship to there source water
what if hes watering with source water that has a ph of 5.5 and your watering with 6.5
hes going to need more dolomite than you yes?
without a PH meter it takes time/trial and error/luck to sort that out
