ok here is the deal . last year i had to go to the emergency room . they accepted my insurance . great
later i get bills in the mail . the insurance will not pay they are saying my condition are pre existing conditions ..........1 year later they are not pre existing .. i get a notice . the emergency room is suing me. for 900 . i have proof of insurance for all last year . i have proof of paying these slimy insurance fuckers 200 a month . what will happen ? your opinion . by the way the insurance kicked back 20000 worth of bills ! but being sued for only 900 so far. currently i have been out of work for an entire month i am sick i have zero money. i am currently filing for sos doctor say i will qualify with my medical condition . it would be very fucked up if the hospital won if i had insurance and paid every payment to the contract expired

So you are out of work and will be going on disability? If that's the case, let them sue - you are uncollectable. Don't keep any money in a local bank just to be safe.

u r uncollectable dont worry,be a mark on credit history that's it long as u don't need much credit next few yrs,once they c your background they wont waste money chasing ya

my credit is already fucked because of this . i will go to court . if i win i will sue the people that are trying to sue me . its the same company that screwed my credit . only thing is i will sue them for 5000 ! the judge may tell the hospital they are suing the wrong person if so ill be suing . i am starting a job monday. it wont even pay my bills. sos lawyer says it takes a year to kick in . it will take them 10 years to collect any money from me . ill tell the judge i am filing for sos and i am out of work . shit happens one day your at work you feel some funky stuff going on with your heart . the insurance tells you fuck off ! your not feeling good they cant fix . they still want there money . and the meds your forced to take make you feel better in 1 way but make you sick in another trade off .

Whenever going to an emergency room, tell them your name is Juan and you're an illegal alien from Mexico. Don't take any ID with you at all. Free medical. It helps if you actually look a little Mexican and can do a credible accent. See, the US is set up to benefit Mexicans, not Americans. Too late now for this particular case. Let's just say you done screwed up. BTW if you go to court you'll lose and get court costs added to the 900. You actually think you can win against the health care system in US court? You're dreaming. They have a team of lawyers that will make mincemeat out of your free lawyer in about 2 seconds.

Yeah, like they'll call INS. Mexicans get free emergency medical all the time. Why do you think hospitals have to charge $20 for a dixie cup to carry pills in? To make up for all the freeloading Mexicans.

I thought it was so the board of directors all make a couple million a year to help manage the hospital.

ill go to court . i dont have the money to pay them. im sure this court case will be in 6 months away . i will fill you all in what the out come is .

I don't know if its too late but you are allowed to dispute the charges and someone from the hospital will go over it with you. Dispute the stuff like a ten dollar bandaid and 20 dollar a dose Tylenol.

You would be surprised. I got over a thousand dollar bill down to a couple hundred.

all the bill says is emergency services . if i did not have insurance this will would of been likely 200 . the insurance rejected the bill so the stupid hospital wants 900. what i will do . i will go to a different hospital . get a print up how much it would of costed with out insurance take it with me . i have a stack of papers sky high . if i have to pay ill have to pay a lot later . if they get sue happy. but again if im on sos they will not get shit.... ill hire a lawyer if i get a notice in the mail to sigh anything else to file chapter 11 on all my medical bills . if i do not sigh the letter then i never got it then they will have to hand deliver me a letter i dont go by by real name for some reasons not getting into . ill just go by that for now on . most people know of me as bryan . they will never find the real person . idk what would happen with that lol . ill just file chapter 11 if i get another notice to sigh . if i dont have the notice that im being sued then i can file chap 11. only time i have to sigh when its bad for me no more sighing ! this shit comes right at the wrong time right when i have never been this broke in my life pay us 900 ! . my house payment and e bill comes first .

You have to request an itemized bill. They have to give you one.

What did you go to the hospital for? Also why didn't you appeal the charges to your insurance company right then? The insurance company always sends out what they won't cover within a matter several weeks tops vs the hospital/doctor offices can take over a month or several. I have Crohns so I know.
