pond or well water is a horrible idea well water is usually extremely high in sulfur. i use tap water throughout my whole grow and it works great, for one chlorine is a part of most nute mixes not to mention it dissipates from water in a few days would not be the slightest worried about the tap water. also the ph most likely will be around 7 which is neutral.using tap water isnt a good idea. Theres no telling wat the ph will b and it can change a lot during the 2 week flush. It costs a lot of money for proper water filtration and poorer towns r realy bad about this. Its not legal but some citys will work there way around and try to save some bucks by using more chemicals and just taking the filters out of the picture. If u have a pond or well water near by thats going to b ur best bet. If u live in a wealthier town or a big city u could use the city water if u have to as long as u get a ph tester and balance the water. Other wise I would stay away. Plants r slightly weaker during the 2 weeks flush from not having fertilizers so make sure the water is safe. Besides this is a flush. Do u realy want to smoke chlorine and other chemicals? I dont
no need to disrespect friend. Ive been envlolved in water systems my whole life and ground water that wells bring up normaly dont have sulphur. Ground water gathers in under ground pockets and these pockets can go for miles. Some of them have sulphur in them and everyone drawing water from the pokcet will have sulphur but a person down the road can b geting from another pocket with no sulphur. Despite the smell it is actualy good for your plants. It can help your plants in many ways but it is mostly helpful for nitrogen. You can also buy filter systems that will take out the sulphur, iron wat ever problem u may have. As long as its done right well water is the best way to go. Pond water is ok if u keep an eye on it. It can b a realy good source of nutrients. Lots of people here have pumps in ponds for there gardens but people like us that realy care of our plants and monitor everything culdnt care less for the natural nutrients in the water since we r already spending a good ammount of money on the best nutrients.pond or well water is a horrible idea well water is usually extremely high in sulfur. i use tap water throughout my whole grow and it works great, for one chlorine is a part of most nute mixes not to mention it dissipates from water in a few days would not be the slightest worried about the tap water. also the ph most likely will be around 7 which is neutral.

You should.flush with ph water only for the best results i do it for 10 - 14 daysJust wonderingif I could flush my plants right under the sink or in bathtub? My ppm tap comes out 150/200. Anyone care to chime in? Or only RO water. Thanks
my tap water is 9.3 - they make it alkaline so metals are not captured from pipes on the way to the tap.
Sulphur is extremely high in well water? Did your grandparents have it and you assume it's everywhere? Sorry but your just wrong, not all wells have sulphur but yes some do. There is a pocket 1 mile away that has it but nope none here. No one can tell you if your well water is good or not, get it tested if concerned, that's the only real way to know other than water your plants. If the plants die then stop lol.pond or well water is a horrible idea well water is usually extremely high in sulfur. i use tap water throughout my whole grow and it works great, for one chlorine is a part of most nute mixes not to mention it dissipates from water in a few days would not be the slightest worried about the tap water. also the ph most likely will be around 7 which is neutral.
The internet is awesome they have a search site called Google - you can look up just about anything- even the 84 oldsmobile you sold in 1993
Why? If the point of flushing is to stop nutrient absorption why is ph important? You should.flush with ph water only for the best results i do it for 10 - 14 days
