Sounds like my state. I check craigslist and other classifieds weekly and have yet to find anything worth picking up.

Just checked real quick.. I can get a lamb for just over $200. but no gear.

If you get ahold of some info from the cob guys or even some of the sponsors here who sell them they can help you put together a decent little cob light to get you going for around 2 bills also I'm sure

I read it, just assumed you were typing lamp and got autocorrected, meaning a lamp but no gear(ballast, hangers, timers, ducting, fans, etc.etc.) used to be a saying about assuming things, can't remember it now though, lol
