Cutter Electronics: Complete DIY COB kits

Hey guys can someone please tell my why all the growmau5 kits say "Back Order"?
I've been checking back for over a month and it's always on back order. Are all these kits built to order or what, what am I missing?
Thanks

Yes we hate it as well, 150 heatsinks arrived today 400 on the water due 1st week feb, also got more drivers in this week so the kits will slowly appear back once we clear the back orders, my apologies for the delays
Cheers

Dope!! I see the drop down window with an option for 90cri bd. Wondering will you guys be offering cd bins?
If you go down to the description below you can divide the number of cobs by the number of drivers then take that and divide the voltage by the number of cobs and you will get the voltage. The kits are 36V.

As a example here is the link for the 24 cob kit.

https://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut3071

So 24 cobs divided by 3 drivers gives us 8 cobs per driver.

It list the driver as 286 volts. So 286÷8=35.75. So the cobs are 36V.

Hey Mark thanks for the reply,

Will it let me pay for and add a "back order"?
I wan't to get in line you know, I don't mind waiting. I just want to place my order so I dont have to worry about everything running out again.

So i'm in the middle of putting a (2) mau5 kits together and all is going well. I ordered a great junction box from robincnn at northern lights and the only thing i'm trying to 'dressup' the 18gauge wire that goes from cobs to my junction box, I mean they are very small and i want to run them through a cable gland on the junction box. Is there something , like sleeving, to increase diameter to securely fasten in junction box. I saw a great setup on "Diy cob pics" section, and reached out but havent heard back as of yet, I suspect he used heavy jacketed stranded wires to daisy chain cobs , and insulation appears to be the size of a standard 110vac cord. anybody have a suggestion, see pic

What's your dimensions for that build? I saw Growmau5's 5 cob setup in a X type of shape, basically the same as your except a bit more angled.

Would you recommend your setup for a 32" by 32" or even a 3x3 area? Anything you could have done better (ie, light spacing or driver) ? Thanks man

Thank you, good sir.

Hey guys newbie here.

Got a roughly 4x4 space (slightly irreguarly shaped). And think the growmau5 kits look ideal for lighting.

Thing is im not sure if i should go with the X or the X1.

Price differnce is negligible so im curious if running the extra cob is worth it given the lower power each cob will run at.

My (8) cob light is 32"x32", for me, its perfect. The grow area is
42"x44", scrubbed and vented

Nice! Going to be upgrading soon so it should be nice. I may just get another 5 cobs for later down in life, just in case I can't get any more chips or they go up in price. What kind of cobs are you running? And how many plants fit in that space?
