OPP pursue and stop U.S. woman who managed to slip through border
"Ontario Provincial Police chased down an American woman who slipped through the Canadian border Thursday afternoon, stopping her on the QEW at Burlington Street.
The U.S. citizen, 39, was turned away at the border “but was somehow able to get through” the crossing, OPP spokesperson Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said. “The female is now being returned to Canada Border Services for followup.” Schmidt said he didn’t want to speculate as to what exactly happened at the border, referring those questions to Canada Border Services.
Cruisers from the Burlington and Niagara OPP detachment pursued the woman.
“It took several officers to get that vehicle stopped. They finally had to box it in and surround the vehicle.”
There was no collision or injuries as result of the traffic stop, Schmidt said."
That's it, Canada is going to build a wall, and the US is going to pay for it!
