Can't figure out exactly what the problem is?

Hi there forum. Trying to find the source of my problems here. I have a few plants from barneys farm in my 1.2m grow tent. some liberty haze, cookies kush and blue cheese. they are about 6 weeks into veg except for 1 which was planted 2 weeks late but I am putting them into flower now as the hazes have just towered above the rest. I am going to install a scrog net shortly so i can fill out all of the space but I have an issue.

Some plants are worst off than others, the blue cheese is actually really healthy still but the others have spots of brown/yellow decaying leaves often appearing at the top of the canopy. They have just been flushed this past week so I don't think its burn but maybe nutrient deficiency? I am not exactly 100% sure what the problem is. I did abandon the feeding for a few days at a time before and i thought it was nutrient deficiency as it was eating the lower leaves but then it started effecting the top leaves too. I dont think its burn or overfeed either caus like i said i just flushed these plants out and ive suddenly had new growth effected too. most are not that bad and can be recovered but 1 of my phenos of haze in particular looks in really bad shape and I am wondering what the best course of action is. Want them cleaned up before they start flowering and budding.

Thanks for your help guys :) hope someone knows what it is :P should I feed more or flush again? 4th picture is the main plant I am concerned about...

that is soil yes?

what nutes are you using? and how much of each
what ppm/EC

are you checking your ph?
whats the ph of the solution your mixing and water your watering with
and
whats the ph of the waste that comes from under the pot when you water

all good guesses

tell us about your nutes and your ph to know for sure

then we can direct you on how to fix it.... you got some good eyes on you,
I'm willing to bet its a peat base. I got pics that look identical. I snowed it in my thread. It was a bad bale.

That and my pots sitting on the cold concrete floor.

Thanks for all of the advice folks. the medium is actually coco coir mixed with perlite. and it was recently flushed with water thats around 6.8 PH. Haven't tested the run off PH yet but I will do later when I water them. I think They are nutrient deprived. I gave them a blast of nutrients, seen as these new spots appeared around 5 days after a flush. new growth afterwards seems OK so far. Could very well be because of underwatering and deficiency of magnesium or calcium. Like i said i abandoned watering after a flush for a few days.

I Give them Remo Nutrients. Since I used these nutrients I don't use any other. they are so clean and my previous results have been pretty great. They all had the same feedings each. I didn't test the PH or EC but I just followed the chart on the website and followed the measurements to exact. put about 4ml of each nutrient to every 2 litres of water, Other Plants i grew before were very nice and healthy all the way through. I am hoping they recover and it is just due to lack of feeding but I will keep updates as time goes on. I will feed them every day, little but often and see how the plants react going forward into week 1 of flower. Going to hopefully install a scrog net soon anyway and get the most out of my yield but I just want them to be healthy so it doesn't sacrifice any of those delicious nugs :P

they are starving, also, are you using r/o or distilled water? that will cause the issue even more. With all the flushing you keep doing, you're creating even more issues.

I took a look at the remo web page...

I can see the 3 base products

am I correct in my understanding you are using only these 3.... grow, micro, bloom? and you don't have the other products (which might be fine lets see)

I think you might need some help on how to mix your nutes

take a picture of the back of each bottle showing the % info for each element

I need to see the iron, magnesium, calcium and micros for each product so I can see how to best mix it

also go ahead and link me or picture me a copy of there feed schedule

Hey dude. No there are actually 7 products for feeding with remo nutrients. Micro, Grow, Bloom, Velokelp, Magnificial, Astroflower and Natures candy. Now That I am going into the bloom phase I will be using 4ml of each of the magnificial, kelp, astroflower, bloom and micro. I had really great results with it before.

Here is a link to the feeding chart I am following. Its been fine for all of my indica plants. seems the sativa genetics don't like something or I am just underfeeding as I said. I am going to give another feed now, new growth looks stable at the moment. Honestly just think its because I have abandoned the nutes after a flush for nearly a week. Anyway here is the link:

don't feed them anything yet

the way your mixing the nutrients is not good....not good at all

theres nothing wrong with your nutes .. there good... but those mixing directions they provide are terrible terrible

if you give me the info on the labels I can tell you how to mix it

they are N def and have magnesium lockout

the way your mixing has very little N and a shit ton of K

adding the astro flower (bloom booster) will only make it much worse

What would you recommend I feed my plants in both the veg and flower cycles? I have finished the veg cycle now ofc but it would still be nice to know for next time. i usually start off with a lighter solution at first anyway. I am looking for measurements for ML per Litre. Thanks for helping :D I will post updates on the plants as they progress :P

the micros are very high in this brand
its probably fine but I just wanted to note it

if the magnificial product has 1% iron you wont be able to use it since its mostly iron
im assuming its 0.1% because that would make more sense

your nutes are slightly low on P but as long as your ph adjusting with phosphoric acid itll be fine

bloom full strength per gallon (4 liters)
0 mls grow
5 mls micro
5 mls bloom
5 mls maginific
2mls astro
1/8 tsp Epsom salt ( 0.5 grams)

veg full strength per gallon ( 4liters)
5 mls grow
5 mls micro
0 mls bloom
5 mls magnific
2mls astro
1/16 tsp Epsom salt (0.25 grams to be exact)

if you want to mix it slightly stronger mix it the same only use slightly less water
if you want to mix it slightly weeker mix it the same only use slightly more water

if the magnifical product turns out to have 1% iron we will need to do it over again voiding it from the formula

Thanks for the help dude :P But yeah i did just double check the magnificial and it is 1% Iron for sure...

I dont have epsom salt. is this going to be a huge deal or can i skip this? and I just half these measurements for the 2L containers right? Thanks :)

ok
let me work it out without the magnifical

the base mix already has plenty of iron,, im not sure why theyd suggest a supplement that is freaky high in iron

Epsom salt is super easy to get

let me look again
maybe the candy can give you the magnesium and take the place of the Epsom

give me a few minutes

im4satori

actually this is even better and easier to mix

you wont need the bloom, the magnific, or the Epsom salt

bloom full strength per gallon

4 mls grow
8mls micro
6mls candy
2.5mls astro

veg
9 mls grow
9 mls micro
5 mls candy

its actually better than the first recipe because the removal of the bloom nute helps get the micros down to whats appropriate ,, like I mentioned the first mix had the micro nutes real high
