Ahhh...great idea...will try that myself...did you get the clover, vetch and.flax from seed?

Cheers

Yep, build a soils cover crop blend. One little $5 bag will last years. I also amend with their craft blend. Actually my entire re-cycle amendment is just half of the craft blends recommended amount and 30lbs of EWC. A single bag of their craft blend will last me a few years too and I don't have to spend tons on my own stash of good ingredients. The above mix alone took this grow well into flower without adding a thing.

you should bug @moondance for a nomination into most improved grower for 2016 if its not too late.
Thanks a ton man, it has been such a great experience but I'd never nominate myself. I'm stoked that there are folks out there that are willing to help a total stranger so much.

As for the garden, things have gotten serious. I would say in the past 2 weeks every cola has doubled in thickness. The purple is really starting to come out now and some of the colas are starting to lean over : o ) I've started to soft wire tire them to the tomato cages. Getting some yellowing on the lower fans, not worried about it, just going to keep things simple and stay out of their way as much as possible. We are currently just over 6 weeks since the flip, I cannot wait to see what they look like in another 2 weeks.

Thanks man! They smell exactly like these organic berry cereal bars we get for our little ones. Very very sweet berry aroma with some earthy notes. I've noticed when they start to get dry (or on the warm side) the entire room around my tent is filled with their aroma even though I've got an 8" scrubber, so much so that I'm starting to worry about becoming de-sensitized to their smell. We have family coming in just over a week and I'm wondering if it would knock a stranger over but the thing is, they lean so far on the berry side I don't think they'd be able to grasp that this was coming from my plants.

I might rotate my filter when I water next, I've heard that re-distributing the carbon by rotating can kind of re-charge these filters. I keep my fan running just high enough to ensure some slight negative pressure and the filter is oversized for the space so yeah, these plants are kicking out some scent to be sure. They get fresh air but my exhaust dumps into the actual room that the tent is in. I know in the long run when I setup my permanent space I'll be exhausting outside so this wont be much of an issue down the road.

Closing in on week 7 of flower and things are looking good. Getting a lot of yellowing on the lower portions of the plant, some dead leaves falling off. Trichomes are mostly clear but starting to cloud up, no signs of amber yet. They smell like berry granola bar especially when they are warm or dry. These colas have some heft to them, most of the taller ones are soft-tied to the tomato cages to prevent them from falling over. I'm pretty stoked, looking forward to the simplicity of trimming this manifold grow. My last grow was a bunch of autos and trimming was pretty chaotic as I didn't train them in any way shape or form. With this, basically my first pass will be to toss anything that doesn't resemble a donkey cock.
