@Litthefrog lol ya that baby has issues... lol guy at the hydro store was like here let me give you a freebee so you can try and get some roots i was like hell ya... Well it has roots just wrong place and wrong direction lol. have like 90 days until my current system finishes out and trying to move to COCO and DTW drip systems so will let the little guy ride it out. Little guy has a week to get it's crap together not sure how it will do when i change my nutrients to full growth next weekend. Have the res at full growth now as in 3 2 1 but only half strength so like 540ppm. They are also under a blurple so the nodes are stacked real tight little one is working on it's 5th node 0.o it's something to behold!

Hey dumb question, so my special queen is obviously female, hairs all over, do I have to switch to 12/12 right away? Or can I let it veg longer? Or does it matter?

That's entirely up to you, there's no specific time to flip unless your on a time schedule to get finished by.. how long has she been vegging? When you say special queen do you mean special queen #1??

Just means she has started that special time in her life lol no really they can show pre-flowers anywhere from 30-60 days I think. But people literally have clones older than some people here that they have never flowered. Best way to determine when to flower is by how much room you have each plant can streach 50%-75% depending on if it's more sativa or indica. Sativa stretches a little more in flower

If it's not an auto, figure out how high your light can go then measure from pot to 12" or 18" from light (at it's highest possible position) to top of pot assuming your plant is in it's final pot. If sativa flower at 40% of that Indica 50%, but you can use training topping, LST super cropping to slow growth and help fill the canopy. You can switch to flower at 30ish days think most stretch it to about 60 or more if only 1 plant to fill canopy. Auto not sure haven't messed with them seems you just run your lights in veg until they decide to finish

So ultimately for me height is my determining factor for flipping to flower. in my cabinet it was only 1 1/2' but in my 5x5 it's 3' as I have 6' from pot to 12" from my light because it's an 8' tent. BUt you could flip early because you want it to finish faster but then your ultimately robbing yourself of finished weight.

Yea special queen #1, do you have experience growing the strain? She's on day 43 since her seed popped

Lol her special time, you make it sound like she's gonna start sneaking out the window and get knocked up by all the boys in the neighborhood . But I get what you mean. Both the special queen and amnesia (both saliva Dom)have been vegging bout 6 weeks. I guess I don't really have any reason to flip one way or another. Just getting anxious !!! First grow jitters ^^ here they are this morning. Let me know what you think or rather what you would do. Keep her vegging another week or so? Yields are the goal but not a deal breaker as I have 3 more girls at about week 3-4, 3 seeds popped a few days ago and 3 clones that i took(was just practicing but all three stayed alive^^!!) so I'm not lacking in plants and can probably harvest a few weeks after the special queen and amnesia finish. Anyways here's the pic special queen #1 feminizedimage.jpeg

Yeah I have 5 in flower 2 different pheno's 1 tall and lanky the other slightly shorter I think I vegged them for around 5 weeks under a mixture of cfl and led and then had them under a 600w hps for 3 weeks then flipped to flower I didn't train them much I topped 1 and left the rest, I haven't cloned this strain either as I don't think I'll be growing them again I started with 15 fem seeds and I'm left with 5 I found the seeds very unstable, they all fell over and died within the first few days after germination. I have noticed a smell off the girls after 2 weeks of 12/12 but nothing major.

@Litthefrog you have plenty of room if you want to use it, but that's really a choice hard to count but think you will have about 8+ colas as is nice training! You could literally fill that 4x4 with those two plants but would take a wile or could flip now and have a nice little harvest. Guessing that a 5gal bucket lights and all could probably go about 2' from top of bucket to top of canopy and have plenty of room for flower. But ya that would take time

I also have the 4x4x6 with 5 plants in 20l smart pots I'd consider my tent full. You've got at least another 4 weeks veg depending on how good your lights and training methods are. But like morth said it's up to you

More than 8 hopefully, I been doing like everyone has said. Train them bitches early! Maybe she'll go make me a sandwich and roll me a blunt now.

I heard it has pretty good yields though..I got them as freebies from the vault, they sent me 6 I popped two and killed one...I've been saving my good seeds till I can prove to myself I can get through one successful grow..:) with out killing the majority.

This time round I lst'd my plants last time I scrogged and I left the special k's to do their thing I hate not having plants in veg while others are flowering cause there's nothing to do but I generally create a bush by multiple topping and then flip to flower 20170130_081819.jpg I have 3 around this size.
