His policies are supported by the majority, despite god awful approval ratings of his first week, under 40%. Quinnipac poll puts approval at 48% support vs 42% oppose for Trump policies. He's selling what people want, according to NBC/Wall Street poll (below). Good bosses arent necessarily the most likeable, but it doenst mean they are bad at what they do. Obama was the opposite IMO, very likable, but a weaksauce leader. For example, the majority Americans opposed allowing more Syrians into US (Quinnipac, 51% oppose, 43% support), but Obama went with the less popular option and allowed them in. This, in a nutshell, is the difference between former POTUS and current.
