I see. Hopefully they were real..but yeah they are a hybrid and way faster then say a Thai ibl..they finish in 10-11 weeks where as pure Thai is 20+ weeks

Judging by my pictures, do you think the Lemon Pie Thai is similar to the Lemon Thai you had?

Judging by your pics that looks like a good Thai hybrid..them leaves are closer to Thai then the lemon thai I was putting out but the Thai 1979 ibl had super thin leaves but took 20+ weeks so I was looking to backcross a male Thai 1979 to the lemon Thai to get more pure Thai in it but also speed up flower time..but as Long as your getting the flavor you want with potency that's all that matters! I also was thinking to cross the lemon candy flavor lemon Larry og kush to them1979/Thai.just something I've been thinking about...

They were from Dutch flowers and they claimed they had to outcross to a Hawaiian sativa so that's why..now I redid them and crossed back to my lemon Larry og kush to get lemon mback in them but its not the same as pure lemon thai

This time up it's Lemon Pie Thai.

Doc's latest creation sounds "old school" to me. I have some old Lemon Thai seeds laying around from a now extinct company called Elite genetics. I grew one or two of them a few years back and it didn't have any lemon flavor. In fact in pretty much tasted like Haze with a bit of extra spice.
It was a pretty good plant but I expect these to be the real thing made with real Thai.

Anyway, I'm waiting on more info from Doc and i will add that as I go along.

Until then.....here they are at day one.

I got the original LT from dutchflowers in 2004..I later found out that they were not pure lemon Thai as Dutch flowers had the lemon Thai clone and to outcross to a hawiian sativa to use for a male..I then later on in 2008 out crossed the LT myself to lemon Larry og kush to get some lemon flavor back into it..this is what the LT x lemon Larry og kush looked like

Honestly I'd have to look up the exact genetics..I haven't looked into it since 2004 but as the pure Thai takes 20+ weeks to flower long skinny colas so they would have had to cross to Afghani or something as the flower time was 10-12 weeks depending on phenotype
