Well if SHE says so, it must be true. Nobody is going to have to apply to grow for rec...Which province or town wants to add staff, space, money and other resources to their already stretched budgets? Legalization will include personal cultivation...or they will have to ban tobacco cultivation and beer and wine making. Judge Phelan ruled that there is no inherent risk to home cultivation....that doesn't change just because they call it recreational.
no worries chris people like her are blind and only wish to be heard... its kinda good to see the right craziness of her thoughts... It actually helps, as most now know what she has to say is ludicrous at best!!

Trina is a tool for the LP industry, as well as just a 'tool'. Nothing personal, I'd say the same about anyone attempting to restrict freedoms for profit. Isn't it odd that the only opposition to recreational growing comes from an LP hack? Slimy as government is, they have not indicated they are considering banning gardens. There would be a whole lot of inconsistencies and questions that will force them to justify their position. Hundreds if not thousands of deaths directly linked to alcohol and tobacco every year has not stopped home production of those products, it will be near impossible to apply stricter rules for a safer product. This is nothing more than wishful thinking by the LP's...or a deflection from the fact they have been caught poisoning patients.
I think now that Trudeau has backed out of 'Electoral Reform', he is likely to want to push through legalization with as little negative press as possible...he needs a 'win'. Of course there is no guarantee until it happens, but I am still confident.

i actually have talked to Trina a year ago for a while on the phone..and she was not even remotely an LP "hack"..
as for the deaths by everything else [except cannabis] ..air, flour , water, alcohol, nuts,potatoes,
Cannabis is "pharmacologically the safest compound on the planet.."
a zillion times safer than the "safe as milk monker thrown around for decades..and longer

Maybe not, but she sure comes off that way in this article. She comes up with something no one who has read the task force report saw, and wrote an article about it. Why is it none of the rest of us read the part where they said we would have to register recreational grows? "Over sight and approval" could mean following bylaws concerning location of outdoor gardens, electrical inspections, etc., 'registering' is her interpretation.
"Police concerns with personal cultivation include diversion to the black market, lack of quality control, increased access to youth, and electrical/fire hazards. Of course, they are also concerned with the policing resources that would have to be allocated to inevitable issues such as commercial grows posing as home grows." Except the courts just ruled against HC on those very points. She goes on to predict the destruction of everything from your property value to your ability to rent as a result of home cultivation. It sure doesn't sound like she's on my side.
This article is nothing more than Trina projecting an outcome she has no ability to control. A guess at best and no more credible than mine until we hear from government,imo. I can't see any reason to write about her predictions of gloom other than to boost LP stock values. I could be wrong, but that's what I see from here......
