I thought so.
We all try and fail at some point.

No you didn't lol. You just annoying the life out of me, I thought maybe by waiting a whole day you'd chill, apparently you haven't. Yea we do bro. I agree. I'm learning as I go by. Take care, peace. Go watch the OJ. Trials or something, entertain yourself. If it's by commenting on my forum, cool. You'll just have to hope another user comments. Enjoy !

You can slide in the Am, PM, hour later, week later makes no difference.

Somehow you are making this more entertaining than OJ.

I'm still waiting for an empirical dataset from you.

Since I been starting my pH on 5.5 on mondays it fluctuates only as high as 6.2 and I haven't had yellowing since. I do have a new issue I can't solve... my leaves have just shrivel for some odd reAson after doing a res exchange .... maybe you could suggest something.
I'll ask for a pic but you know that ain't happening at the moment.
And you do know twisty leaves is a sign of pH problems?

LMFAO man only if you knew how many times I've tried to send it. Reply, editing the post, using my phone, switch to computer version. Lol everything.... I didn't actually that ins why I believe I am asking sir as I am not aware. I added 1/2 gallon of undadjusted pH MUNICIPICAL water 84ppm @8.2 pH than I adjusted the totes to [email protected]....

I've been pH adjusting my "ladies" since 12/26/16 to [email protected] during my whole GROW. During this time I've experienced yellowing between the veins of my new growth along with some older leaves. During the past weeks I've had this issue although the plants were developing new growth. I've tried to, in minimal portions, add nutrients after seeing that my PPMs were low or adjusting pH back to [email protected]. Now, I've been doing this faithfully and haven't seen any results much. My notes do show that when my pH was accidentally dropped a few times below 5.8 at exactly [email protected] I saw what I believed the next day to be "improvement". However, that was "short-lived" the following next 2 days according to my notes when my pH was adjusted back to [email protected]. The leaves, again, began to yellow along the new growth and old leaves. This past week I've been analyzing my PRECISE "notes" I've saw a pattern where leaves would improve during times my pH was "OFF". I began to run test on some,3.5 weeks EXACT since Germination, plants of the same strain. I pH adjusted 2 plants at a routine rate of [email protected] with a fluctuation ranging max @6.5 during all 3.5 weeks my leaves were yellowing. I pH adjusted 2 other at the same routine rate of [email protected] with a fluctuation ranging max [email protected] NO yellowing appears what so ever. Both plants were tested using NO nutrients.

What I found is that at a range of [email protected] the plant does not receive enough "manganese". My test have concluded that at [email protected] the plants new growth has extreme yellow along with old growth. My test showed that [email protected] displays no yellowing on any parts of the leaves.

Function: Manganese is used in plants as a major contributor to various biological systems including photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen assimilation. Manganese is also involved in pollen germination, pollen tube growth, root cell elongation and resistance to root pathogens. SOURCE (http://www.pthorticulture.com/en/training-center/role-of-manganese-in-plant-culture/)

I'm not sure if I'm CORRECT, though my test show I could be. To keep your [email protected] during your whole growth can induce toxicity in the plant as manganese is needed only in very small portions and is easily consumed at pH&5.5. I recommend starting the week at [email protected] and continuously lowering pH if needed to no LOWER than [email protected] as most important nutrients such as Calcium and Mangnesium aren't consumed anywhere below [email protected]*.

That is what I have discovered during my past 3.5 weeks of Germination for the SWEET TOOTH KUSH. Please EXPRESS yourself freely even if it is harsh. I am not offended as this was a test that solely proved plants needed a [email protected] during the start of my week. I could be wrong. I just don't see how if my test showed otherwise. Unfortunately, I didn't take photographs. I will my next test pH test @2/28/17

The problem here is that NO plant makes ANY visible response in under 3 days!
The only thing that will show any "repair" to already expressed problems, is N problems!
Your not on the right track here Einstein,,,,,,The yellowing is most likely due to improper feeding!

The general accepted swing in hydro is set to 5.7 or 5.8 and let it rise to 6.2 and 6.3 for a short time is ok..

You should be basically resetting your pH daily at lights on.

Your overthinking an already proven process..

I'm learning man this how some people learn, trial and error. I'm sure my experiment didn't prove much but it help me understand fundamentals in pH a bit more. Over the past few days I've been doing extensive research and follow up with other users. I'm sorry my forum upset people so much. It wasn't my intention. I just wish guys would FULLY read my responses before jumping the gun. All of this would have been easily avoided. I clearly wrote in conclusion that I could be completely wrong and my experiment proves nothing. But that was completely looked passed and disregarded in away that only makes every response harder to address properly... guess we are both done.

No, this was shit seeds being used to run this ph test. Only so I can get an idea of differences and things like that. Thanks for asking although it's just to ridicule me. Real cool man.
And I didn't set it at that, it was a mistake man, I hit brewed my nutrients and diluted it with 3/4 gallon water that didn't lower the temps enough. The temp now I currently at 78.6 as it went down due to room temperature. I'm changing those nutes from yesterday though.

Why bully someone who seems to be a little eccentric on the internet, then snitch when you get a reaction from it? Everybody has to start somewhere give the guy a break.
I've been baffled man. I'm at the point where I can't understand what part of what I wrote upset people. I'm just learning man, I'm a noob at this dude. I've never used DWC in my life. Didn't even know it existed. I was using this forum as away to be contradicted but in a healthy FACTUAL way. All I've been getting here is mishaps and upset people. I've been trying to reAson with them and asked them to fully read what I've been writing. All of that was ignored. Lol. I clearly wrote I could be wrong and that this test isn't really relevant. Maybe my title threw them off idk. But I'm a passive ass dude. If I thought, which would be nonsense, that I knew more than others I wouldn't be on this forum asking multiple questions with concerns. I appreciate you taking the time to look out for me. Bless

Oh no. I read it.
I figured it would be nice to confirm your belief and give knowledge.....trust me. I could have wrote a lot more if that last part was not there.

Were good...

i'll explain it.

you made a nonsense claim that your plant was yellow at 5.8 but perfectly fine at 5.5 which you claimed was because of a Manganese deficiency. which is absurd and we told you this and you said we were all dumb ass niggas i believe.

i even put up achart that shows Manganese is absorbed from 4.5 to 9.0 pH and couldn't possibly be the problem which you then told me again that I was wrong and you were right.

to be honest, nobody even knows what the hell you are trying to say or prove with your "experiements"

here's how to fix what you are doing:

USE HYDRO NUTES, NOT ORGANICS
KEEP PH B/T 5.5 AND 6.1
KEEP WATER TEMPS AROUND 68F

Hi there. I am that in-experienced grower again that has very few teachers so I try to use some of you guys, but this time you might have a laugh or NOT. When I was first showed how to do this growing by a couple of very nice young men; they too were running around with expensive PH pens in there pocket and using ph-up and down every day. I noticed there was a lot of money put into their grow and that a lot of yellow leaves were all over in the veg and bloom rooms. So I went home and ordered me up one of these genius devices and bought the up and down products because I didn't know any better. But it all looked wrong following bad advice after bad experience so I got on the internet and looked for guys who have been doing this for 20 years and more only. The simple rules they had was to add 1 cup of fine lime per liter,1/4 cup of fast acting hydrated lime and be done with it.The PH stays put on an even keel at 6.8 all the way thru the grow. The only time that I became locked out of any nutrient was when I started getting chlorosis in the leaves at exactly 3 weeks into veg every time. I immediately started self-diagnosing a cal-mag deficiency and fought it like a 2 year old for over a year. Turns out that it had nothing to do with ph or cal mag. I forgot to add bone meal to my soil and locked the nursery out of phosphorus .Everybody talks about that nutrient being so important in bloom that I forgot how important it is for growing plants.I have never had anymore yellowing problems what so ever and have all my fans leaves in good health going into bloom. By the way, I gave the full bottles of up and down to a friend who loves to use it and kept the ph meter which I hardly ever pull out because it shows the same thing every time.In the end, it was all about losing the yellow leaves
