I've got three harvests under my belt with regular photoperiod plants but this is my first time with autoflower seed germination.
I'm using a simple cup of water which I've never done before and I have to say it's impressively effective. However my seeds have been in opaque cups, in the dark at about 75-78°F for three days. All of them are showing signs of tap roots beginning but the longest is only about an eighth of an inch long.
Should I wait till they're longer or put them in soil now?
I'm torn because the guides I see for this method seem to be saying the seeds should be ready to plant in just a couple days but every picture shows longer tap roots.
Anyone know more about this method to give advice?
