Im wrapping up the 4th week of veg and my plant is almost touching the light I'm growing with a 200 watt cfl light and my box is 3ftx18dpx28w. Should I tie it down?

In a 3ft tall chamber you only want to veg the minimum possible time. If clines that means as soon as rooted, if seeds, put on 12/12 a couple weeks after sprouting.

If you dont have a flower chamber that plant is a lesson. Its going to more than double or tripple in size.
If you can bend it over a ft below the light, and turn it into a scrog, get a screen in there and start weaving the plant into it. A screen is really the only way your going to keep it from jumping right back into the light.

In my grow area i have a 3 ft hard limit as well, but thats from floor to tip of bud, so a bit more room slightly maybe. I have to flip asap, as in i flip seeds to flower before they even can flower, and i still have to snap every single branch and tie em down (i cant scrog in my situation)

I grow in a 32" high box so understand your problems. Looking at your pic you have plenty of space for it to go horizontal, get her tied down and fill the width / length of your cabinet with her. I scrog about 5" above the soil and fill my entire cabinet. It can be done, you just have to plan ahead.
At least you have a cfl so not so many problems with it burning your plant if it gets too close.
Good luck!

Just noticed your dimensions are about the same as mine. My box is 28" wide by 15 deep.
If you train your plants they can fill the space and have buds everywhere. I used filming and lst to train my 2 and ended up with this
I like the LEDs in there, must keep it really cool. Is that a co2 bag up top? Looks alot like my grow I just finnished with alittle more space 20161209_215346.jpg

Haha, nothing as fancy as a co2 bag, it is a bag of silica gel purely to help angle the fan towards the canopy!
The leds were about 6c cooler than same total wattage CFL. Helps me a load in summer but I sometimes need help from a small heater in middle of winter ( grow is in a concrete unheated garage in U.K.)
I just read your stealth dresser grow. I am tempted to make some lollies/suckers now, looks like a visit to the cooking part of the forum for me next.

They were really good too, got super high off 2 or 3 of them

Thank you for the compliment.
You will make much better use out of your space by training, and therefore end up with much more bud! You won't regret it.
For some reason I forgot to put that I also scrog on my post above. Because it is such a small space I scrog quite close to the top of the pots - just high enough to get my hand under.
A couple of pics show scrog net just as I flipped (Day 45) and then after stretch (day 60). Left plant was a bulldog seeds northern lights and right was a bighead seeds big freeze, which has a really nice mango / banana smell to it
Ended up with 3.5 oz dry total from 135w of standard shop bought led bulbs

What's your opinion on super cropping?

I haven't supercropped so have no opinion to be honest. In a space as small as ours the methods i use are so easy to do, and work so well, I haven't tried it.
Saying that, those pics were only my 3rd ever grow, and my second photo grow, so i am still learning how best to do stuff. Just doing an auto grow at the moment and using LST on those to keep them low and wide.
@Michiganjesse as above, I am no expert, but it looks like you just let your plant grow naturally. Read up on here about training. There are a lot of helpful posts. It really does increase yields and is so simple to do it is untrue. If i can do it anybody can!
