Looking for the right Skunk

So I would like to do a run of some good skunk. I miss the Skunk I used to get in the early 90's. Sweet skunky skunk. There are multiple breeders that offer their versions of Skunk#1, Original Skunk, etc. If anybody on here has some recommendations (from personal experience) on a good old school Skunk seed, I would appreciate it. Not interested in skunk crosses, just good old school skunk. Preferably with a bit more of a sativa edge. Any of you guys on here that remember the skunk you used to get in late 70's and 80's, thats what I'm lookin for

You want Skunk #1 I had it in 1980 I believe the Reeferman Seeds has a version check out the Vietnamese Willie Nelson smokes
The cheeses have that aroma but this shit smelled like you ran over a skunk. I got pulled over twice while I had it and hit a real skunk. Use that as my excuse and it worked. OG

I remember moving 10lbs of Skunk grown in Richland County Williard , Ohio 1979 80 The best skunk ever I know what you mean stillnot the best buzz OG

Yeah Reeferman has some good genetics. I have the Black Willie from Old School Breeders Association done by Reeferman. They also have an oldschool roadkill skunk that I've got my eye on. The Skunk#1's and Original Skunks are def what I'm looking at. Just wondering who has the closest version to the old stuff. Thank for replying

The Pure from Flying Dutchmen is the original if that's what you are after. Shit from Mr Nice is solid too and even Seedsman Skunk 1 is a good representation. The old road kill pheno is in there somewhere but mostly it's the sweet skunky pheno's.

I've run SHIT from mr nice. It's a SKUNK#1 (Afghan dominate) x SKUNK#1. It was more than solid in my opinion. My patients loved it.

Mr Nice also just released "new" skunk ---> Its not listed on their strain menu. You got to order it either from their online auctions. If you're patient you can't beat the prices. It's not currently listed on the auctions but there was 3-4 listed last week. Or you can always buy it directly contact sales. Or it might be listed on the buy it now auctions. It's 50 euros for 15 seeds. It's not a new skunk but a new release of old genetics. Shanti says there is the old school road kill pheno in there BUT it will need to be searched for. It sounds like it might take more than one pack to find it though.
I've got 5 packs myself. I was worried it would be only a limited release and they were going like hot cakes. They auctioned off 40 seeds at Christmas time and they went for 525 euro! Now they've got a new seed drop and they're easier to find.
I'm closing down to a minimum for the summer. When I fire back up in the fall I'll be starting with these seeds. I might even do a side by side with SHIT. There'd be no better time to compare them.

Mr. Nice has some old Skunk you need to either contact Shanti or wait for it to come up on the auctions. It's supposed to be from seeds back in the late 80's.

The Shit he sells is also Skunk #1 but it's Skunk#1 X Skunk#1 (Afghan dominant) great strain IMO but that's the only Skunk#1 I've done. I have done plenty of crosses too but I'm a little limited on pure Skunk #1's other than Shit I have done 4 packs of her and they are 18+ seeds per pack.

Where about in Ohio did you live? My neighbor was from Willard and his cousins grew it. The first time I had it 1980 late summer 3300lb my guy drove and made 300 I sold 333gms 10$ a g made a qtlb each trip 45 times. Me and my old lady smoked 10llbs of it. Almost got busted Atlanta Intl Airport 1983 smelled so strong but we made it. Hit OG back.

Grew up in East Canton/Louisville. Canton, Ohio. Hour south of Cleveland. Left Ohio in 97.

Thanks for your feedback man. And a little insight to your past. I'll find the girl I'm lookin for. Love hearing stories like that. Ya know, things are a little easier these days, at least if you're in a med/rec state. But I kinda miss the old days. Albeit riskier, shit seemed easier back then. Less complicated maybe. But hey, I'm still learnin and thats good.

Thank you for getting back to me. I will def check them out. Although not my own personal grow, I did help a friend with Shanti's real cut of SSH, and Mr. Nice's Mango Haze

I made new Deep Purple seeds x with either kush, ML, or NL but wow what a taste and kick it has over the other Phenos. I am veggie most regens back to veg wow the branching from bud to leaf incredible single leafs unraveled as big as my hand and dark indica green. Last time I put one outside like this an easy 10-12 ozs of dank. This smoke I feel each hit higher and higher until you close your eyes and time has passed you while in a thc narcotic state of mind. Couchlock easy. OG
