Some of my crosses have had their names rooted in metal as well. Nothing serious though, more for my own entertainment than marketing.

ok so anyone using the dry koolbloom or other dry big bloom pk nutrients?

I dont have my bulk 6-11-31 in yet so for now I have 2 pounds of Maxibloom to burn through.

Currently mixing up for bloom and veg (hydroponic F&D)

MB 5-15-14 @ 0.65g/L
CalNit @ 0.52g/L
Epsom salt @ 0.4g/L
Calcium Hydrochloride (pool shock) @ 2.5g/140L

NPK = 0.3-2.6-2.4, 1.3 ec

just popped my dry nutrient cherry, it was..... ...so... ...easy! (and cheap!)

On another note, Plant Prod, the dry bulk Canadian company I am going with has come out with their own line of MMJ nutrients (which are a US product). Looks mostly for soil grows, sold in 25lb bags for probably $75 USD at a marked up dealer. Take a look:

and here

Their hydroponic 6-11-31 is a Canadian/international sourced product found here:

Plantprod looks nice although i found a yield boost with using myco with my peat and it is suggested, "Teaming with Microbes", that anything over 80ppm of P can be detrimental to the fungi so I personally would alter their MJ recipe a bit...but I like it.

With a quick search of fertilizer in the U.K. I found this. There are other chemical fert companies listed to look for brands. Yara is a huge old fertilizer manufacturer.

http://www.yara.co.uk/crop-nutrition/fertiliser/

Garden centers and greenhouses and feed/ farm stores usually stock this sort of thing.
They only do crate shipments though, unless that changed in the last few month. Having another look, I believe that was the company that also included sulfur in the base feed.

oh that figures. I just wanted to help. Good luck.
Yeah appreciated, yara did look like the best of the lot but they still appear to be industrial sale only as were most others. Solufeed is the only one that seems to have small scale distribution of salt feeds, for any uk folk looking for some. They also have some organic/bio beneficial stuff but not sure on it's quality.

Isn't THC talk forum in the U.K.? Maybe a dry nute thread?

Good luck man. I will say I have no problem with my one part hydro company nute. Botanicare Pure Blend Pro. Any good nutes will grow great pot.

I buy by the gallon and it lasts a year for $45 delivered. If I buy 5 gallons is gets drastically cheaper.

Contrary to popular belief. jacks would cost close to my volume price per dose unless I buy huge sacks. And I would need more than 1 to be complete.

So I am not the powdered nute guy I am sorry to say.

This forum seems to have the most informed members so would rather walk with giants ^^. But, worth a check, prob is the uk side of things seems to push mostly organic for the typical gardener while the ''other type'' have to depend on what ever the hydro stores stock and ofc it's not cheaper long lasting fertilizers.

Solufeed is good value for money and probably not far off as good as yara if not the same can't compare the two. Should make a seperate post on solu for the uk folk here.

Cool. Got ya. And the smaller fert suppliers likely buy and repackage the big boys stuff just like here anyway.

I'm currently running Tupur royal gold and these nutes work like magic in this soilless substrate.

I know this post was almost a year old but wanted to ask how u liked that grow in the tupur royal gold? I have been using growstones in a flood and drain bucket system but been looking to maybe switch to a coco mix and do dtw and wanted to see how good that grow did with the mix u use.

Oh ya, that Tupur sucks; I'm only pulling 25-27oz from 5 gallon buckets full of it. :P

Once upon a time I ran water bottled nutrients, and then came an awakening to dry nutrient salts and the use of Jacks Professional Hydroponic mix. It worked serviceably well for a couple of years.

Then, an online search- shipping it is pricey!- and some networking amongst my friends yielded a discovery, there was a dry nutrients maker/formulator right here in Colorado!

Hydrogardens.com has been around awhile, yadda yadda. Their prices are very competitive with Jacks- and that means they're stupid cheap compared to anything that comes wet.

I bought their 'hi K' hydro formula, 5-11-26 with micronutrients. I also bought Yara Liva brand calcium nitrate, a fifty pound bag of epsom salt and another of MKP, aka monopotassium phosphate.

I think it's even better than Jacks because it mixes better, there are no insoluble granules, no dyes, it goes into solution fast and stays that way.

No, this isn't an advertisement, it's a legit thread to tell people about a good product- one that I've been using for a long time and can therefore personally recommend.

Who else here uses it, what products of theirs do you use and how do you like it?
Yoda dude - are you still high on using HydroGardens sold by Charlie the sleeping cat?

I was checking out a commercial place the other day and was joking w the owner how the lady there does not like lady bugs.
