Great looking tree, great looking light!
Did yousay in another thread that you had done a PAR Map and you couldn't upload it due to the issues RIU was experiencing a few weeks ago?
yeah here it is.the square rep a square foot so 4 ft x 5 ft . the circled # are from 18inches away and the others are from 24 inches.this was in a dark building open area,no walls within 5 feet so pretty raw numbers.the par in my room now with other lights around it are much better .seeing 1400 to 1500 @ 20 to 24 inches really makes me happy, not that i was bummed about the first set of numbers lol.

My cabinet is 3' wide 2' deep 5' high. I'm running 2 boards off of a hlg 240 1050. I was running it full bore but I've had to dim it down to 50%.
Way more light then I was expecting.
That's awesome! Im trying to setup a scrog around the perimeter of my room; using the center as my working area. It would be 2'-2.5'. I was hoping 1 board would cover that area. I thought i would need 2 though.

I think one board at the right wattage would work well in that space. Obviously 2 with less wattage would be more efficient but like me u would probably need to dim em down. Comes down to preference and cash sir.
Good luck either way

1050 ma seems like a good middle ground. how was the heat off them when you ran it full blast?

After being on for 8 hours I can lay my hands on the heatsink and driver. It hot but not crazy.
I was able to remove my can fan fighter jet engine and replace it with a 4" pc fan and my canopy only gets up to 87degrees.
I could mount the driver outside and bring it down another degree or 3 but I consider 87 ok.

My apologies for bugging you all day.. bored at my desk; brain is going on its one track.

How many watts are you drawing from the wall with your 2 boards at 1050 ma?

I don't mind sir
I should caution tho that I'm by no means an expert on the subject.
This was my first led build.

Math isn't my strongest but I think the 240 pushing 2 boards full out would be in the 270watt range.
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will correct me
