Tha make

Thanks for info, I've been looking at recharge, I actually ended up getting rid of two because they were getting so big I only had room to flower two with the other ones I already had flowering. I got my ph and everything dialed in perfect and they are growing great now, in week 4 of flower. I did have four total. My flowering room is 8x8 and I have 3 600w hps but I had two big ones already flowering so l was out of space
Keep updating mate I would love to see more pics and dry results. Capn would be proud
Plants looking very nice and fat,
The 8x8 is in feet right?
And the photo only shows one 600 hps worth of area ?

Thanks much appreciated, yeah things are starting to finally run smoother and product quality is great, just finished 2 plants I did in soil. I will post a picture of it. Yeah you are correct there is only one light over them in the picture. I had the soil plants next to those with 2 600w lights and I just finished them so I now have one of those lights over the hydro ones for a total of 1200w. They have now been in 12:12 since February second. They were under mh first couple days so they didn't start to really flower until 2/7 ill say. So they are about 25 days into flower now and I would have to say they are the healthiest plants I've had at this point of flower. Leaves look great and the buds are filling in nicely. Tons of tops.

Where does this idea keep coming from? There is absolutely no value to testing run off. The only area that matters is the root zone. This myth needs to be busted!
Why would you say that runoff doesn't matter? The water going in goes through all the soil and root system, so you'd think that the runoff would be a good reflection of how the roots are....

Because while that water passes through the medium it takes things with it. Those things are no longer in your soil. So they can't affect the PH of your soil anymore? Why would you adjust for them if they're no longer there ? Besides that the real thing is you're not growing in the run off. What it measures is irrelevant. I can't tell you how high the PH would need to be to come out at a PH that you'd want your medium to be. But it would probably kill your plants it's so high. Read up or ask someone else. But testing running off is pointless. If you're worried what you want to do is buy a soil meter. A quality one and test the medium! That's where the roots are. That's where proper PH matters.

If you only compare spot check singular results to other pots and varying plant feeding rates>ec run offs along with less than identical mediums the lack of correlation would not be a surprise. If you tracked and compared individual pots to it's own previous results it would surely give some indications?.

Sure I guess. As long as it's always an equal amount of runoff. But I'd argue it's still only going to correlate to information that isn't important. And each time the saucer is completely free of any contamination. I know my saucers are only clean once. And after each watering they get sediment and residue. Needless to say any thing else that might fall in there. Say a dead leaf? I'd suggest your time would be better spent by looking at the actual plant. See what it's "telling" you. Or your soil reading where those wonderful roots reside.

Yes I agree on most of that, my only interest is that it may allow a saving on nutrients as I'd imagine adding too much does not always = visible symptoms.

Unfortunately I am having some issues. The leafs being affected are very sprodic. It'll show on new growth and oldest. One plant it affected a whole lower branch and could barely see any problem else where. I couldnt find a deficiency it looked like so I'm thinking the problem is in the medium. My ph run off comes out just over or under 6 which seems good so I'm thinking it must be some sort of nutrient buildup or something.

I am getting some problems I've noticed. And I am in pots of mini rockwool cubes not soil.

If you guys think it could be a deficiency or something other then what I am saying it could be. Please feel free to tell me I'm wrong.
They look fine! One or two leaves looking weird doesn't matter.
