Study: Hillary Clinton’s TV ads were almost entirely policy-free

OMFG

The bill would have imposed new donor and contribution disclosure requirements on nearly all organizations that air political ads independently of candidates or the political parties.
Explain how that's a progressive position to hold

A new bill requiring politicians disclose where they get their bribes from (that was still defeated) instead of a new bill criminalizing bribes..

You support bribing politicians

That is disgusting

He's got a point in that it was a start.

You have a point in that it didn't go nearly far enough.

My point is that there's still nothing on the books and bribing politicians is STILL legal.

I disagree

He has no point at all

The Democratic establishment tries to pull the same thing all the time. Throw progressives a bone and hope they stick. The most recent example is appointing Keith Ellison to "Deputy chair" of the DNC.. A position with zero actual power. Earlier during the primary, the Clinton campaign fought tooth and nail against every single progressive proposition to shift the Democratic platform to the left the Sanders campaign proposed, then, as soon as it was decided, they adopted the superficial measures that don't actually make a difference and expected Sanders supporters to get on board with "the most progressive platform in history!"... They took credit for the progressive positions that were accepted on the party platform because of Sanders' success when they initially opposed them during the primary.

It's very clearly a charade to garner progressive votes.

They have a serious awakening coming.

We have to live long enough first...
Oh, I have no intention of 'living' (in the traditional sense, rather) to see humanity to fruition. I'm doing my part for the unborn lot.

Sadly, (hopefully I'll be long in my earthly grave) I think that in order to satiate the republiconservazis - 'GUNS, GOLD, GATED PROPERTY!!!' - we're gonna have to go through this phase, sigh......

If I wanted to see a hero win a battle for the benefit of the entire village, I'd be glad to offer him/her a meal, some armor, added gear, etc.
I would not consider this bribery.
Politicians aren't heroes. There's always someone else to offer more for them to do what isn't in our best interest.

One citizen, one vote.

Why isn't that enough?

Why should they wake up if they're raking in the cash?
