That's a popular method used here as well especially for clearing trails.
It's a good way to return the tree tops and brush to the earth while controlling runoff and keeping the weeds at bay for a few years.

It still left some big chunks. I'm gonna buy a chipper and just move it around the property and chip the big chunks down even further...

I have joined forces with an old friend to purchase Wildwood. We are starting from scratch & Wildwood will be a work in process for years to come. We will invest a lot of money up front with the hope of good returns. The crew is busy doing Lone Oak & the Annex, so we will be on our own for this one...we are a couple of old farts but were gonna give this one a ride......
