First Grow (need some help)

Hello everyone. Just joined to get a little help on my first grow. I planted a seed on 3/12. And it sprouted 3/13. It's been a few days and seems to be growing well. The only thing is that I feel as if it is getting heat stress. I have it under 1 42W 6500k CFL that's about 3 inches from the actual plant. I am using one of those clamp lights with it. What do you guys think? Does she look healthy or should I move the lamp up a bit? Thanks for any help.

see the thick veins and swollen leaf thats over watering

avoid
always go by the weight of the pot

think then water

imo trim the pot rim down quarter an inch above the dirt line

add another bulb at 2700k this will make it grow vertical

a small 4-6 inch fan is good, will remove heat and allow the plant to breathe

good luck

Thanks for the reply man!
I didn't think it could of been overwatering but it may be. I have been watering daily around 8:00 pm. Everytime I look it seems the top soil is extremely dry so I give her a little water. I won't water for a day or so and see how she does. Also I have a 32W 3500k CFL I could use with the other 42W CFL. Do you think that would be ok? Or is 2700k necessary. I also have another 42W 6500k that's the same as the one I am using now. That I could also use. Wouldnt running two CFLs be a little much for it?

Put something over the soil. Mulch, perlite, hell use some strips of cardboard. You soil will stay cooler, and you won't lose as much moisture to evap.
Vos is right, that plant can probably go several days to a week with out watering.
No worries, just don't overlove it, lol. It's busy growing roots right now.
Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! I listened to your advice and covered up the soil. I am going to keep an eye on it and water when the cup feels light. So not for a day or two, maybe more. Do you guys think I should go ahead and add the second light on it or is it a little too early? Like I said I have a 32W 3500K and a 42W 6500K that I could add to the light setup I have know which is the one 42W 6500k. Heres another pic of her that I just took. Once again thank you all for the help.

But when you put your finger in the soil is it wet?

Not really I tried that and to me it was really dry. I have a moisture sensor and when i used that it says the soil is moist. That is about in the middle of the cup. When I used it on the top of the soil it says dry. Im going to be using that instead of the finger trick, so i wont overwater.

Hey guys so I still have not watered her. She is looking a little more burnt. I moved her a bit farther from the light. I am going to be adding a small fan soon. Any ideas as to why the inner leaves are turning yellow a bit? Is it heat stress? The leaves do look like they are tacos. The last pic I added is my setup

Don't poke your finger in it. One it tears roots and two its not accurate.

Go by weight.

You can raise the light to 8 inches or so for a bit.

Have you fed it? Does the soil have nutes?

u feeding it nutes....? any perlite in that soil....? she looks like a PH inbalance as well....
in soil PH should be 6.5....
Thanks for the reply. There is a bit of perlite from the soil i bought. It is Dr. Earths Pot of gold soil. How can you tell about it being ph inbalance? I will check Ph in a few. I have not been keeping an eye on it.

Dr Earth Pot of Gold soil. I am not giving it nutes. I have been using tap water when watering.
You letting the tap water sit out for a day or two before using? Have you looked at what's in your tap?

When I moved I had to quit using tap. I'm close to the treatment plant. My plants hated it.
