couldn't stand the bs in those links......... Someone should start a thread call Fight Club and send all the assholes there to spew their shit........ but wouldn't be many good people left............and most of good ones seem to be in this thread lol!

I've been super impressed that this thread hasn't been ruined by all the haters! (yet.. )

Boards will be here in 5 days. Need a day to test. Slate 1 already on its way.
Slate 2 shipping in 2-3 days. Slate 2 is heavier so small delay in getting them shipped.
QB 304 75 (3000K, 4000K)
QB 288 71.50 (2700K, 3000K, 5000K)

You can also pre order Maxipad on our website next week. :hump:

Getting drivers, power cords, wagos, screws, heatsinks, hangers, drivers, packing supplies. Adding rates to Israel, Greece, Canada, UK, EU. Also testing boards to confirm bins.
Hard to ship 500lbs of heatsinks any faster. Please hold on to your money for another week. Sorry for the delay.
Hope these blue Slate 1 will make up for delay.

I have a 2x2x4 with 90W kit. Good coverage but i would want 135 kit for flowering.
135 Kit. its only $10-$15 more and you can always dimm it if needed. Driver in 135W kit is a little more efficient too.
90W best for smaller spaces and veg.
yeah thats what i was thinking, go for the stronger one and dim if nessesery.. i also have a 2x2x4, homebox?

Hi @robin
I have a bunch of MW 185h 48a drivers, cranked up to their max voltage can these run the 288's?

Yes they can :)

What is the efficiency for the 260 w kit? Once optics have been glued on can you still remove the boards from the heatsinks? So they can be changed over the the slate 3..?

Test Data coming soon
Estimated Efficacy with S6 Flux bin 158Lm/W
Estimated Luminaire Efficiency 2.35 µmol/J with S6 Flux bin.

You can unscrew the board even with the optics glued on.
@Stephenj37826 just confirmed.

and the blue boards look sweet.

The blue boards are anodized? That's to help them shed heat better?

Have you investigated crinkle finish for similar characteristics?
These guys say it perfectly
The color of the anodized finish makes little impact on emissivity since most radiational heat loss occurs at wavelengths higher than visible light.

Yes tested Pin heatsink in different colors. Temp difference was too small to show any differences in performance.
I will test 'Black Slate 1' VS 'Blue Slate 1' as soon as i get blue once. Will be cool test with FLIR. I want to keep using FLIR , otherwise Steve will take it back. o_O

Is there going to be a release date for a complete, finished fixture that's ready-to-go? IP67 and all that good stuff? I am in the market for a new light and I'm leaning hard towards that ChilLED one -simply because it's just around the corner from being released and the numbers look great on it...But IF there is something I need to know about coming from somewhere else, then please speak up! :)

along with lm/w i will add u moles on board pages tomorrow. Then you can compare better.

QB 288 is $71.50 and offers better efficiency at lower price.
QB kits include drivers..
theirs is IP 67, completely different spectrum, not sure if they include driver.
No plans to take QB IP 67 anytime soon.
QB Kits will have better extrusions but will take a while.
@Stephenj37826 and i working (More red) spectrum but will take a while.
