Crop king seeds horrible!

I'm sure some bozo is going to give me shit for posting this, but this was absolutely rediculous, and the way I was talked to was unspeakable. ok, so I just got off the phone with a representative from cropkingseeds.com bc it's been 11 business days and my package has not arrived. He stated, and I quote "our seeds get seized by customs all the tim, what do you expec." Better fucking people skills maybe. This was my first time buying seeds.online as I live in a legal state surrounded by dispensaries, but I wanted to give their autos a try. Their website does not claim that their seeds get seized all the time.... that otherwise I would have paid the extra 30 bucks for the garaunteee option.
Yeah, that guy is a complete jackass. I got a lecture for making two orders too closely together which was his excuse for getting the second order screwed up. He talked to me like a child for a few seconds until I stopped him and told told him to stop whining, forget my order, keep my money and go fuck himself. He then sent me a deranged email explaining why I should be grateful that his company exists and how much better they are than anybody else and how I'd regret not doing business with them. There are too many other good options for getting seeds to put up with that bullshit. I have since heard similar stories about interactions with him. I felt the exact same way you did -- I have never been talked to like that before by anyone!

That's f'ing crazy dude! That's exactly how he presented himself to me too..as if I should be grateful that they are even around. He's like a legal thug. He just want respect,...his arrogance and pride is going to be his downfall. I had to hang up on him. I couldn't believe he was telling me that I was doing something illegal, so seized seeds should be expected.
 
If he really is the owner of this major seed bank,...he is way to paranoid to be operating that type of business. I completely understand that there is some risk bc of the fuzziness of federal and state laws, but it was like he wanted to make sure before I even got another sentence out that what I did was illegal and anything that happens is not his companies fault lol. I also thought it was very funny because I never said the word "seeds." I said package. I believe they also sell apparel, which, if it's not made out of sour diesel fibers, should be completely legal

I'm calling them again and this time record it. i want to get this on record. The more I hear from you guys, the more I remember now,...the sale of cannabis seeds is completely legal federally and on a state level (this state anyway)
Crap King is based in Canada, which it is legal to sell seeds, as such we have stores you can walk into and purchase your seeds

this is why we were upset when the USA extradited and convicted Mark Emery for selling seeds to Americans...something that is legal here
 
its hardly anyone's fault but the sellers, so it's hard for me to feel bad for Canadian selling to us Americans. If it's illegal, they shouldn't do it lol, right? We have breeders here. I've never tried buying my seeds from a seed bank before, just my local dispensary seeds,.... but like I said,...I needed them autos ha. I won't be bugging king Canada anymore, that's for sure. And I don't know who mark emery is, but sounds like he got caught doing something he could have avoided.....there must be an incentive to take the risk of sending them to America.

marc emery is partly responsible for the growth of cannabis culture in north america from the 90's. he's a fucking legend. and unfortunately spent 4 years in a US federal prison 2010-2014 for selling seeds to US.

glad you got your seeds! but, we all know the risk we take when we order these....so go easy on the seller. you did get them, its not his fault customs is a bitch. could he have been better on the phone/email? sounds like it. but being guilty of poor customer service isnt a crime, so just dont go back if you choose. but you didnt get ripped off, just wanted to point out the difference is all.

I have some seeds chillin in customs for 22 days now, they may take root! lol

and thats when the bad customer service began :-)

I quickly added that I talked to someone one really nice and assured me that my seeds where on my way. I'm just surprised that asshole is supposedly the owner.

That's crazy you don't think that's bole shit ha, but props to you for keeping a cool head. I guess I'm not used to dealin with seedbanks...like I said above.....this was merely a post to say how poorly I was treated by a customer rep by crop king seeds. I also stated that I received my seeds.

I was just baiting you, you seem chilled enough. At least you know what to expect and dont let it put you off ordering as most seed banks are at the very least good at getting those seeds to you :-)

yep, understandable. a business rule i believe to be true: take care of your customers and your employees and your bottom line will follow.

im a little pissed its taking so long, but its not the sellers fault. all good. ill get them when i get them. only a little bummed cuz i was going to do a solo cup auto contest. but its gonna be too late unless they get here asap!

My experience didn't play out like that either. He had absolutely no call to speak to me the way he did. I was calm and polite until 30 seconds into his rant. Interestingly, I too had a pleasant conversation with a female rep a few days earlier. Similar unpleasant exchanges with the guy have been described on other sites as well.

I had a good experience purchasing from CK. Received my seeds in 8 days. CK takes credit cards, which is something most North American seed vendors do not do. Before ordering, I did a fair amount of online research and quickly figured out that seeds get intercepted by customs all the time, and paying extra for expedited and guaranteed shipping was a smart move.

And being a successful business owner in our modern capitalistic society requires a person to be ruthless. You don't get to the top in today's business world unless you are willing to step on the heads of other people to get there. That having been said, smart business owners delegate customer relations to others if they are smart enough to recognize their antisocial tendencies (and successful enough to have employees).

I've bought seeds from Crop King and I will say that they have the worst, most ignorant, rudest customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. This is the reason I would never send another cent their way.

Crop king seeds did great for me. Got my seeds in 5 days, in central usa. Even received 2 more than I ordered The one I planted, did die, but only from user error. Sucks because they are expensive. I still have 6 early miss seeds left, but my gorilla glue auto flowers from seed supreme is doing great. Picture below. Sorry you had a bad experience bro, but trust me when I say it's nothing compared to the bullshit seed supreme put me through

I read somewhere on here that CK was Mark Emery's operation. He was just arrested in Toronto I think, that would cause some agitation.
I ordered some Blueberry seeds from there, only the males made it through germination. I had some fem seeds from there that were fine, those got discontinued, not a very potent strain but put out a lot of bud.
I ordered some props for my quadcopter from china, those took forever to get through customs. Little peices of plastic.
