Do you think the Dem party should move more right, left or stay the same to win future elections?

Should Democrats move right, left, or stay the same?

Oh, so same shit different face?

What's that line about doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result?
Someone like Hillary Clinton who accepts bribes because you have to accept bribes to beat Republicans even though she just accepted bribes and lost to the worst Republican presidential candidate in history. But bribes, though, we can't handicap ourselves, now! That would just be foolish... right? I mean, we might lose...

She won the popular vote by over 4%...you keep forgetting that.

But either way, maybe not Hillary but someone moderates in the party can look at and say "I'm not sure about the 'Socialist' but that's a face I can trust".

what a dumb fucking way to view the world. you are dumb. so fucking dumb.
So what do you consider a bribe then? Does somebody in a trench coat wearing a black bandanna across his eyes have to give a politician a bag of money with a '$' sign on it and explicitly say "So I'm giving you this big bag of money and in return, you're going to do X, Y, and Z for me, right?" "Absolutely, you will get X, Y, and Z!" "OK, great!" and it all has to be recorded by the FBI, CIA, NSA and Homeland Security?

I know you're not this naive, I know you're smarter than that. You actually support this shit because the politicians you support are accepting the bribes, which makes it all that much more nefarious.

You're going to get your establishment ass handed to you. Wait and see, buddy.

I'll tell you what Clinton supporters told Sanders supporters when they were criticizing how the DNC was handling the primary; Hey, you knew the rules ahead of time, if you didn't think your candidate could win with the existing rules in place, you should have worked to change them before the actual election took place. :(

If by rules you mean the primary rule that says "should've got more votes" ?

Changing the vote schedule to ensure more moderate states that would vote for Clinton would be first justifying the media narrative (that we know the Clinton campaign was in collusion with from the DNC leaks) that Clinton was the frontrunner. Changing actual voting schedules in states and counties that were likely to go to Sanders. Abandoning the 'get out the vote' campaign that traditionally targeted the youth vote because the youth vote overwhelmingly went to Bernie Sanders. Pushing narratives that Sanders was an atheist right before primaries in states with traditionally religious voters. Giving the Clinton campaign forward access to debate questions.

But the electoral college tho! :(

nope. i'm gonna bribe my politicians by making a donation to them. i bet 92-95% of congresspeople keep their seats in 2018.

padaraper's definition of a bribe: private citizen donates a few hundred bucks to a politician whose policy positions they like. padaraper gets jealous because his min wage service job doesn't allow him to make any donation. padaraper abstains from even voting to show how powerful he is at influencing politicians. that'll show 'em.

literally none of these things have any basis in fact whatsoever. not one bit.

What's that line? Something about repeating an action and expecting a different result?
I agree. I think if we go with Hillary again, we very well might see history repeat itself. I would take either Warren or Sanders on top of the ticket. Warren is a little younger and might be able to shoulder the burden physically, of the presidency a little easier than Sanders, but he would certainly make a great president.

warren will be 70 by 2020.

we need to run someone like kennedy, clinton, or obama: someone around 45-50 years old. that'll really illuminate the fact that trump is just a grouchy old racist fart who watches too much fox news.

Who of that age group looks promising? Every time someone shows promise they end up in some kind of ridiculous sex scandal. I could forgive a small sex scandal if someone could show some leadership, and a desire to move forward.

LOL!

Yeah, right. That's exactly what we need. Someone who can tell us how bad Trump is. Not someone who can tell you how they'll be better than Trump.. What their policy positions are. What they stand for, what they believe in, what their values mean to them.. Just how shit Trump is.. Didn't you know he sucks? He totally sucks so bad, guyz. Like, really, so bad. Sad. Right? I mean..?

But hey, let's let him fuck the country up and just ride it out! Eventually, the American people will turn back to the Democratic party because the Republicans are so bad! Right..? After Bush we did!
